Palworld’s official Twitter account revealed that two new controllers, inspired by Pals Lamball and Depresso, are now available to purchase. The $150 Lamball controller is the more expensive option due to it being an Xbox Elite Series 2 controller. However, the $80 Depresso standard controller comes in at a more reasonable price. The pricey Lamball controller draws inspiration from the spherical Pal by including a combination of white, brown, and orange colors. Similarly, the Depresso controller incorporates the Pal’s blue and purple colors. The Depresso controller is particularly stylish due to its use of the Xbox Design Lab’s Aqua Shift body, which features a light blue to dark blue color shift emanating outwards from the center of the controller.

Palworldhas not specified whether the controllers are a limited-time offer or will be available on Xbox’s website for some time. However, in other recent news,Palworldreleased a new Xbox updatetoday, on February 28, which added backup save data and a plethora of fixes and changes. The same update was released for PC users on February 26.

The recentPalworldupdate has proven to be one of the more controversial onessince the game was released, due to players no longer being able to breed negative traits out of Pals. However,Palworlddevelopers have since confirmed that this aspect of the game will be rolled back in a future update, although it’s still unclear when this change will take place.

Palworld’s massive success has made it anearly contender for 2024’s game of the year. Although it seems like a steep mountain to climb at this point,Palworldcould be the first indie survival game to compete in the competitive category, assuming that it continues to receive regular updates as well as new content down the road.
