Patch 1.09 ofWWE 2K24adds the WrestleMania 40 arena in both a day and night version. This effectively adds two new arenas for fans to use. Players who purchased the 40 Years of WrestleMania Edition will now be able to accurately recreate or redefineiconic moments from WWE’s 40th WrestleMania. Many fans are still hoping that there will be other ways to unlock this arena, or that 2K could add more WrestleMania stages in the future.

New Arenas Added To WWE 2K24 Via The Patch

While the patch notes state that the arena is the only addition,WWE 2K24content creator WhatsTheStatushas uncovered some unannounced items included in the patch. A likely addition to MyFaction, classic versions of Chad Gable and Becky Lynch models have been found within the updated game files. As with previous similar models found by Status, these will most likely end up as Persona cards that need to be unlocked via the game’s MyFaction mode. Some gamers on Reddit have already shared screenshots of the updated character selection screen which seems to match up with the discovered models.

2K and Visual Concepts have a history of including extra little tidbits and contents for the keen WWE gamers, and it’s safe to say that these additions have garnered positive reactions. An older patch also quietlyintroduced new weapons to use inWWE 2K24, and perhaps this could be a strategy that the developers are trying out. They announce things added in the patch, and wait for avid gamers to discover other minor and secret additions so that fans earn a sense of enjoyment and discovery when they play the game.
