Version 1.1 ofWuthering Waveshas been released and players have been introduced to a variety of game mechanics.Wuthering Wavesincorporates mechanics from many other open-world rpg games and adds their own touch of cyberspace to it. Many players who enjoy games such asGenshin Impactmay find many similarities when playing it.
Amongst the similarities, there are a few odd new mechanics that not a lot of games seem to have. Since the premise ofWuthering Wavesis set ina futuristic world where humans use resonance to battle monsters, the landscape is very dystopian. Humans seem to live in communities, behind fortified walls away from the remnants of a chaotic past. Outside these walls, you’ll find various monsters, challenges and odd things that Rovers can absorb and use for their resonance skills.

How To Use The Sensor In Wuthering Waves
The sensor is a new gimmick that Rovers can toggle on through the Utility bar in the main menu. Players can use the sensor to detect various things. These range from collectible items when exploring the landscape, quest items, or identifying enemy weaknesses.
The sensor is especially handy when trying to identify an enemy’s weakness, as players can detect it from a distance before engaging. you may also use it to find out if an animal is hostile or not, since a majority of the species outside the city are detected as enemies.

How To Use The Levitator In Wuthering Waves
The Levitator is a device mechanic that is available once you complete the first part of the main quest. Since it is mainly an exploration tool, players will automatically be able to use it when they come close to either a challenge or overworld material.
The trick to using it is pretty simple. For instance, certain rocks in the game can only be broken with the help of the Levitator. You need to equip it to lift a glowing rock and throw it against a much larger one to shatter it. Simple, basic attacks do not work on these rocks.

As the Levitator automatically activates when you are near the crystal, PC players have to pressGtopick up the rock. You can angle your camera to a suitable frame if you want to aim and chuck the rock aggressively. Or you could also simply throw it. Either way works. This strategy also works for thepressure plate challengesthat require Rovers to use the Levitator to pick up weighted cubes that need to be placed on platforms.
To easily access both the Sensor and Levitator, follow these steps:
Players should note that to unlock the Sensor, you willhave to complete the Huanglong Chapter 1of the main story. After completing the Midnight Ranger’s quest, only then will the Sensor be permanently available.
