For a limited time, theWorld of WarcraftTrading Post will have new and expanded stock for players to browse and earn additional Trader’s Tenders. The new stock includes some rewards from pastWorld of Warcraftexpansions and events, as well as some items that were previously unobtainable by players for quite some time.
While reception to the Trading Post has been generally favorable amongWorld of Warcraftplayers, a recent datamine suggested that theTrader’s Tender currency could be added to the Blizzard Storeas a microtransaction in the future. Though Blizzard has not officially commented on the datamined assets for the Trading Post in question, the prospect left some players concerned for the future of the Trading Post were it to go that route. Only time will tell if and when Blizzard will announce such a change. But, for the time being,WoWplayers will have some new Trading Post items and activities to look forward to soon.

Throughout July and August, theWorld of Warcraft’s Trading Post stock will include some rare items for players to spend their Trader’s Tenders on. One of the pets on the list of rewards is the Spectral Tiger Cub, which was previously available via aWorld of WarcraftTCG item code, for 750 Trader’s Tenders. Two faction-exclusive mounts, the Alliance’s Alabaster Stormtalon, and the Horde’s Alabaster Thunderwing mounts, will be coming to the Trading Post later on in the event. Previously, the mounts were obtained via purchasingtheWorld of Warcraft18th Anniversary Bundlelast year.WoWplayers that earn 1000 Traveler’s Log points by completing tasks in July such as taking part in the Midsummer Fire Festival and the Auction House Dance Party will obtain a new Dragonriding mount, the Grotto Netherwing Drake, and an additional 200 Trader’s Tenders.
Some items that were obtainable via the Trading Post in previous months will make their return this July, including the Filigreed Lion’s Maw shield and the Fists of Polar Fury weapon. In addition, players that missedtheDiablo 4crossover event inWorld of Warcraftwill have a second chance to obtain the mount called Tyrael’s Charger, which will cost 900 Trader’s Tenders. Prior to theDiablo 4event, Tyrael’s Charger was a preorder reward forDiablo 3thatWoWplayers could obtain for a limited time in 2012.
While the list of Trader’s Log activities is plentiful, activities related tothe upcoming Fractures in Time content updateare strangely missing from July’s log. Nevertheless,World of Warcraftplayers will have plenty to do throughout the summer.
