The final round of DLC forSid Meier’s Civilization 6Leader Passhas arrived, and players might want to take these rulers for a spin. This is the sixth of six different waves of leaders that Firaxis has been adding to the game, and each of the waves has really helped expand the leader pool in unique exciting ways. Anyone who ownsCivilization 6and all of its DLC can grab this pass at no extra charge, while everyone else can buy all six waves for $19.99.

The final wave ofCivilization 6’sLeader Pass is called the Rulers of England pack, and it brings with it three leaders that sat on the English throne. Two of these leaders are simply alternate personas for base game leaders, and one of them is areturning leader fromSid Meier’s Civilization’s past. They each seem like they will shake up the current meta in exciting ways, and will all prove to be a force to be reckoned with in the hands of veteran players.

Age of Steam Victoria

The first ruler of England comes in the form of an alternate persona for Queen Victoria. This new version is called the Age of Steam Victoria, and she brings with her some powerful bonuses to production. Her special ability is aptly named Age of Steam, and it will give players significant bonuses to their cities. Every building in aCivilization 6industrial zonewill grant +10% production for that city, and every strategic resource will grant +2 production. This boost in production should allow players to churn out buildings and units at a much faster rate, as long as they use these production gains wisely.

Elizabeth I

After sitting out the last seven years, Elizabeth I will finally be making her way toSid Meier’s Civilization 6. She is one of thehistorical figures to appear in everyCivilizationgameso far, and fans are excited to see her once again. She serves as an alternate leader for England, and her special ability sounds great for anyone that wants to focus on building trade routes. It is called Drake’s Legacy, and it grants players +2 trade routes after recruiting their first great admiral, trade routes to city-states give +3 gold, and players will earn +100% yields from each trade route they plunder. These trade route gains should give her the ability to buy her way to almost any victory type.

Varangian Harald Hardrada

The final leader in the Rulers of England pack is an alternate persona for Norway’s Harald Hardrada. ThisCivilization 6Leader’s special abilitysounds perfect for anyone who wants to spend their time befriending city-states. It is called Varangian Guard, and it grants significant discounts for levied units. Levying city-state units costs 75% less gold, and killing units with levied units grants faith, culture, and science equal to 50% of the defeated unit’s strength. If players befriend enough city-states then they could quickly build an unstoppable army, and be well on their way to claiming victory over every other civilization.

The Rulers of England pack is available inSid Meier’s Civilization 6right now for anyone that wants to check out these new leaders. It serves as the final round of DLC for the Leader Pass, and possibly the final round of DLC forSid Meier’s Civilization 6. Nothing has been confirmed yet, but it seems likeSid Meier’s Civilization 7will be the nextpiece of content that players can look forward to. Hopefully, Firaxis shows off somethingCivrelated soon, even if it is simply a second Leader Pass.
