On January 28, NetherRealm Studios will be adding the long-awaited Joker DLC toMortal Kombat 11for Kombat Pack owners, giving one of DC’s most infamous supervillains the chance to mix it up with theMK11roster. Like every other character in the game, The Joker is coming toMortal Kombat 11with his own Fatalities, but his are even more over-the-top than usual.
The Joker will have two Fatalities inMortal Kombat 11, and both utilize the character’s signature morbid humor to great effect. In the first Fatality, The Joker shoots a hole through his opponent’s chest with a spring-loaded boxing glove. He then places a jack-in-the-box inside the open wound, which eventually bursts open and sends his opponent’s head flying into the air.

The Joker’s second FatalityinMortal Kombat 11is similarly ridiculous, but this one involves an exploding cake instead of a jack-in-the-box toy. In his second Fatality, The Joker tricks his opponent by giving them a cake and having them stand underneath a “FRIENDSHIP” sign. The cake then explodes, and The Joker riddles his enemy with a Tommy Gun, transforming the “FRIENDSHIP” sign into one that says “FATALITY” in the process.
Needless to say, The Joker’s creative Fatalities should please bothMortal Kombat 11fans and fans of the DC Comics villain. However, there is a lot more to the character than just his Fatalities. Players will also be able to utilizeThe Joker’s brutalitieswhen fighting with the character, and some of them even include clever references to the comic books. There’s also Fatal Blows, alternative looks, and much more to consider when it comes to theMortal Kombat 11Joker DLC.
TheMortal Kombat 11Joker DLC has been long-awaited, but there’s even more post-launch content for fans of the franchise to look forward to. After The Joker comes toMortal Kombat 11, fans can look forward to fellowcomic book character Spawnbeing added to the game on March 17. Like Joker, fans can expect Spawn’s Fatalities to be based on his comic book powers and make nods to the source material.
It’s possible that there will be even moreMortal Kombat 11DLC characters after Spawn, though nothing official has been announced. Rumors have been swirling about a potentialMK11Kombat Pack 2, though fans will have to wait for an official confirmation from NetherRealm to be sure.
Mortal Kombat 11is out now for PC, PS4, Stadia, Switch, and Xbox One.
