Gamer rage is not a unique phenomenon. Players in the throes of frustration during a tough gameplay sequence or after a loss often express their anger in less than acceptable ways. Usually, this lashing out is limited to inanimate objects such as controllers or desks.DoomcreatorJohn Romero admitted to destroying his Mac keyboardduring aQuakemultiplayer match, and even NBA player Josh Hart was caught smashing his keyboard during aCall of Duty: Modern Warfarelivestream.

The problem arises when that gamer rage is aimed not at objects but at other people, namely defenseless children. Such was the case with a Twitch streamer going by the pseudonym KillaMfCam, who was playing theonline FPSEscape from Tarkovwith another streamer, Frizzable, on February 15. The 26-year-old, who dubs himself a “gamer by nature, streamer for fun,” was killed by Frizzable in the game, and that’s when things went awry.

KillaMfCam banned Frizzable in the game before he could even drop a few GG’s, so Frizzable went to visit KillaMfCam’s stream to watch hisdefeated opponent rageat the loss. In his own words, Frizzable “stuck around to see his temper tantrum.” That’s when KillaMfCam got up from his desk and began to berate his four-year-old child, who can be heard crying in the background. The video, which Frizzable posted to his Twitter account, may be difficult to watch for some.

An upset KillaMfCam can be heard cursing and speaking angrily at his child, telling him to be quiet and stop soiling himself. As the child continues to cry, theTwitchstreamer says, “Christ, man. God damn, you stupid motherfer.” KillaMfCam’s voice then becomes louder and, either forgetting that he is livestreaming or perhaps not caring, he begins to shout at the child. “I fing hate you, dude. Get the f*** out of my room, bro. Go! Get out! Go! The f*** out of my room. Get out. I’m going to break your f***ing neck, dude. Get the f*** out!” The door can then be heard slamming and the child’s crying is no longer audible.

A few hours after the clip was shared on social media, it began to go viral and Twitch removed it from the platform and banned KillaMfCam. Whether thisTwitch banis permanent is unclear. However, it seems that KillaMfCam might actually have three Twitch channels, the third unused for several years. Although there is only one video available on that channel, it is still online. The first channel, which was used to stream the verbal abuse towards his child, and the second channel, which KillaMfCam links to from his Twitter bio, are both offline.

KillaMfCam’s Twitter profile states that he lives in Ohio, and viewers have been attempting to alertlocal law enforcementabout the incident. There has been no word yet on whether police have successfully been contacted or if they will take action.
