Tiny Tina’s Wonderlandshas done several things to help itself stand out fromBorderlands, and these unique features have come together to make a truly enjoyable spin-off. The Overworld map is charming, spells are significantly more fun to use than grenades, and character creation has seen gamers coming up with several memorable designs. Still,Tiny Tina’s Wonderlandsis not a perfect game.
Alongside requests forbetter mob density inTiny Tina’s Wonderlandsand a push for quality-of-life changes when it comes to collectibles, many have rightfully wondered where True Vault Hunter mode is. An integral aspect of the series sinceBorderlands 2, being able to replay the game with the same characters can be a ton of fun - and it would make even more sense inTiny Tina’s Wonderlands.

Why Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Needs a New Game Plus Mode
While the name of the mode would need to be changed, as gamers play as Fatemakers instead ofVault HuntersinTiny Tina’s Wonderlands, a new game plus mode should still be patched in sooner rather than later. These modes are popular inBorderlandsand in other franchises for a reason, with the most obvious being that some players want to re-experience a story with their fully leveled characters. WithTiny Tina’s Wonderlandsfeaturing a delightful campaign full of fun dialogue and memorable moments, it is no wonder fans would want to experience it again.
Another major point in favor of a New Game Plus mode is that it would help tremendously with purchasing all the storage upgrades inTiny Tina’s Wonderlands. While the game featuring nearly two dozen bank upgrades from day one is a positive, as it took a while forBorderlands 3to fully expand storage space, the downside is that it will takeTiny Tina’s Wonderlandsplayersages to get the required gold for every storage upgrade.
Considering that the game’s trophy list requires players to purchase every single storage upgrade for the Platinum trophy, many are resorting to a duplication glitch orgold exploit inTiny Tina’s Wonderlandsto buy the upgrades. With the only options at the end ofTiny Tina’s Wonderlandsbeing the Chaos Chamber, map clearing, or random encounters in the Overworld, it is hard to imagine many fans naturally getting the 300 million+ gold that is asked of them. If a new game plus feature was added, though, this grind would be a lot less problematic since players could gather more gold on repeat playthroughs.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands’ Lucky Diceare yet another reason that a True Vault Hunter equivalent should be introduced. After searching the maps thoroughly to collect every hidden Dice, players truly deserve the large boost to their loot luck. However, this boost cannot be used to its fullest potential with the limited options available in the endgame. While it is great to have better loot luck in the Chaos Chamber, being able to replay the campaign and see how much more loot is dropping than on a first playthrough would be a lot of fun.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands’ low Legendary drop rateduring the main story is a brilliant decision on Gearbox’s end, as gamers need to earn the right to get lootsplosions filled with orange items. However, once they have reached the point where they are at Chaos level 20 and have done all thatTiny Tina’s Wonderlandshas to offer, fans should have the opportunity to go back through the campaign. Though starting fresh is fun since players can dabble with some other classes, there should be an option to run through the campaign again on a fully maxed out character. With the mainlineBorderlandstitles having this feature, the spin-off should absolutely have a new game plus mode as well.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlandsis available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
