Summary
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s season is still in full force after the release of The Teal Mask DLC and with another expansion coming in the next few months, but if the same pattern for past releases is to be assumed for future games, morePokemontitles may be announced next year. One of the most likely options seems to be remakes forPokemon Black and White, as Gen 4 was given this treatment last, and Gen 5 is the next in line. Another title that many players would like to see happen is aPokemon Legends Unovagame, as it would be a good way to bring back the lovedPokemon Legends: Arceusformulawhile giving Gen 5 its time in the limelight - and the biggest clue for this may have already dropped.
Although recentleaks hint atPokemon Black and White 3happening over remakes or aPokemon Legendssequel for the Unova region, this would ultimately be the most sensible option in the context of modern games. Not only would aPokemon Legends Unovagame have the perfect mascot in the form of the Original Dragon, a sort of fusion between Zekrom, Reshiram, and Kyurem, but it would also give Game Freak the chance to explain a big mystery fromPokemon Legends: Arceus.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus Can’t be The Only Game Where Enamorus is Available
Pokemon Legends: Arceus' Enamorusis not only a powerful critter to have on any team, competitive or not, but it is also quite unique. Enamorus is part ofPokemon Black and White’s genie trio known as Forces of Nature, but it wasn’t in the original games, and instead, players can only get it inPokemon Legends: Arceus, making it the fourth member of the group and the one controlling the love and hate sphere of life.
The fact that Enamorus was added is not exactly a first, andPokemongames in the past did add to past evolutionary lines or even took a different route for existing critters, such as Galarian Articuno, Moltres, and Zapdos. However, what is peculiar is thatPokemon Legends: Arceusis not a mainline game, and Enamorus is currently only available there. Barring a special 7-star Tera Raid inPokemon Scarlet and Violetwhere Enamorus is the protagonist, it would make sense for Game Freak to release aPokemon Legends Unovagame or some sort of Gen 5 follow-up title next and include it alongside the other Forces of Nature.
Seeing how Enamorus has been prominent in the competitive scene and how well received it was inPokemon Legends: Arceus, the fact that it isn’t available anywhere else may be the biggest sign that newPokemonGen 5 games are coming next. In fact,Pokemon Legends: Arceuswas the first time that entirely new creatures were added to a spin-off and not made available outside of it, and whilePokemon Home’s connection withScarlet and Violetis live, Enamorus is still unavailable for most players. Right now, the only way to get it in Gen 9 is to catch it inPokemon Legends: Arceusand transfer it viaPokemon Home.
As such,aPokemon Legends Unovagamecould kill two birds with one stone by both featuring Enamorus and giving players an entirely new Gen 5 game that isn’t a regular remake, even if it means pushing remakes out of the equation entirely. Regardless of what Game Freak’s nextPokemongames will be, it’s almost guaranteed that they will feature Enamorus in some capacity, even more so if they are from the mainline series. Otherwise, this Fairy/Flying critter could be trapped inPokemon Legends: Arceusfor a long while.
