This can be important to minimize damage taken in a tough fight. To find the cloak, head east on the map towards the northern part of Praenost. TowardsBrass Hollowis a quest calledBrass Cavernwhich will rewardthe best equipment, the Dauntless cloak, upon completion.
9Valorous
The Valorous cloak has a helpful ability that boosts the recharge rate of surge magic whenever Frey’s helpful bracelet assistant, Cuff, blocks damage. When playing with a build that puts a lot of focus on Frey’s surge magic, the Valorous cloak makes a huge difference and means that Frey can inflict magic attacks much more frequently and gives the player the advantage of making a trulybroken weapons build.
To find the Valorous cloak head toLigarewhere a scouting mission will be marked on the map. Defeat a handful of enemies to unlock a nearby chest containing the Valorous cloak.
8No Limits
For players who pre-orderedForspokenfor the PlayStation 5, a very special cloak will be awarded upon logging on for the first time. The No Limits cloak is a white and blue affair adorned with the PlayStation symbols and offers the ability to boost attack when a healing item is used. For those still finding their footing in the game in the early hours, the No Limits cloak is an invaluable piece of gear.
For pre-order players on PS5 simply use the L1 and R1 buttons to scroll to the gear screen and the No Limits cloak will be in the inventory waiting. At this moment there are no plans to release the No Limits cloak separately, and it remains a PS5 pre-order exclusive.Forspokenis also not aPlayStation Plus Extratitle, so simply playing the game on Sony’s platform isn’t enough to obtain the No Limits cloak.
7Faultless
In theMolybdos Guild, a scouting mission will be marked on the map. Stepping tentatively under some giant boulders and using Frey’s impressive parkour skills to scout the building and destroy allthe ruthless charactersin her path will unseal a nearby chest.
The chest contains the Faultless cloak, a powerful accessory once worn by Tanta Prav. When Frey’s health is high, the Faultless cloak increases the chance of inflicting critical hits which makes a world of difference to combat difficulty.
6Puissant
The invaluable Puissant cloak works slightly differently from others. It uses the number of enemies nearby to boost Frey’s surge magic recharge rate. This means that the Puissant cloak is only useful in situations where Frey and Cuff might find themselves outnumbered by foes, but the recharge rate is boosted to such a level that it makes a huge difference in horde situations.

5Audacious
The Audacious cloak brings with it more generalized statistic boosts, which include +5% to health, +2% to Red Magic, and +2% to Purple Magic. Having said that, the boosts it gives are not its only benefits. The Audacious Cloak will also reduce damage taken when Frey’s companion Cuff blocks damage if Frey has full stamina.
To obtain the Audacious cloak, head to theRuins of Mercadorbefore navigating to theVisorian Plateau. Clearing the enemies here will open a chest that rewards the Audacious Cloak.
4Gracious
The Gracious cloak adds a valuable boost to Fray’s defense statistics whenever a healing item is used. This boost will lend itself well to a more cautious play style, for those players that aren’t afraid to use many items.
Players can unlock the Gracious cloak by navigating thisopen-world gameto theBhulna Villafound in thePsychic Gardenand clearing the enemies there. A chest nearby will become uncovered, and the Gracious cloak can now be equipped.
3Judicious
This cloak is described inForspokenas being once beloved of Tanta Prav, one of the antagonists of the world of Athia. Obtaining the cloak protects the wearer from being dazed, which could prove valuable and will help in approaching certain opponents.

After heading towardsGyuzel Villageand completing an event that culminates in clearing a horde of enemies from theWater Garden, a chest in the center of the area will become unlocked. Searching for this chest will reward the Judicious Cloak.
2Pelerine
The Pelerine cloak is one of the strongest and best cloaks to obtain, especially in the early game forForspoken. To get the Pelerine cloak, head towardsLocked Labyrinth: East. Clear three rooms of enemies and then face up against an intimidating boss to get the cloak.
Pelerine is the best early-game cloak as it boosts Frey’s stamina. Pelerine also adds the possibility for critical hits to restore Frey’s health, which is a game-changing statistic.
1Unstoppable
In the southwest of Praenost, a scouting mission is marked on theMilitis Academy. Investigating the ancient site will lead Frey and Cuff to a series of enemies. Upon defeating them all, a chest will become unsealed which holds the powerful Unstoppable Cloak.
This “uncharacteristically luxurious” cloak will increase the damage dealt by any of Frey’s magic spells whilst parkouring, but also brings the additional benefit of reducing fall damage.
