InStardew Valley,Haleyis one of the12 villagers in Pelican Townto whom players canget married. Fresh out of high school, Haley isn’t employed yet. She resides alongside her sister, Emily, and both of them take care of their parents’ house – who have been traveling the world for the past two years. While she seems like a self-centered and superficial character at first, Haley is kind, caring, and affectionate. Getting to know her better is worth the effort; it reveals a deeper and more genuine side beneath her surface facade.

InStardew Valley, Haleyisn’t very active and has a simple routine that can be tracked to get ahold of her. Talking to her and building a connection reveals that she is passionate about photography and loves capturing scenic pictures.
From 11 AM to 4 PM, she visits theFountainnear the Community Center every day duringSpring and Fall, except on Mondays, when she can be found taking pictures near the riversouth of Marnie’s Ranch. Haley heads to theBeach daily in the Summerand meets up with Alex at his ice cream stand. InWinter, she stays indoors all day but goes toHarvey’s Clinic on Winter 9thand attends theNight Market on Winter 16th.

Whatever the season –if it’s raining, Haley will stay in her roomall day except at 12 PM when she occasionally leaves her room to go to the kitchen, and at 7 PM when she goes to stand in her living room.
Haley’s Favorite Gifts
InStardew Valley, giving gifts to other villagersincreases Friendship points with them. This in turn adds Hearts and influences the player’s likability. Haley is a picky and spoiled character with luxurious preferences when it comes to gifts. She’s very particular about what type of things she likes. As such, many of her favorite gifts are hard for players to access in the early phases of their gameplay.

Besides two weekly gifts, Haley loves getting attention anda present on her birthday(Spring 14). Daffodils are easily available all around the Valley during Spring; players can easily pluck these flowers and gift them to Haley.
Romancing Haley
Even if Haley seems difficult to court, there are multiple layers to her personality. Likeall characters inStardew Valley, she has her own Heart events. Most of Haley’s events happen inside her home.
Two Hearts
Enter Haley and Emily’s home when they’re both there, usually in the AM hours. Resolving the conflict between both sisters boosts Friendship by 30 points.
Four Hearts
Enter Haley’s home when she’s there. Showing strength and helping her in opening the jar increases Friendship by 30 points.
Six Hearts
Head to Beach when Haley is there, between 10 AM and 4 PM, except Winter. Comforting her and offering to find the bracelet that she lost will boost Friendship by 50 points. The bracelet is in Elliott’s cabin; retrieving it really impresses Haley.
Eight Hearts
Go to Cindersap Forest from 10 AM to 4 PM and join Haley at Marnie’s Ranch when she’s taking photos. Taking pictures with her and explaining about approaching cows changes Haley’s mind about living on the farm.
Ten Hearts
Join Haley at her house and compliment her dark room for developing photos. This increases Friendship by 10 points. When asked what to do next, players can kiss her in the dark room.
After Eight Hearts, Pierre sends a letter stating that he’s now selling Bouquets at his shop. It’s recommended that players give Haley the Bouquet to further strengthen their romantic bond. She’ll happily accept the flowers, changing her status to “Girlfriend” in the Social Menu.

Marrying Haley
Players who are up for the challenge and want to start a life with Haley can propose to her and see if she is interested in getting married. The Mayor announces that it’s customary for villagers inStardew Valleyto propose with a special necklace called aMermaid’s Pendant. Players can purchase it from theOld Mariner for 5000g. On rainy days, he’s usually found at the tidal pools on the Beach.
Players need to use the Rain Totem in Winters to trigger the Old Mariner’s appearance.
