Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Orderis set to take players on a wild journey through the Star Wars universe as they take control of Cal Kestis. Though the specific year has never been mentioned for the game, it seems that with all of the footage and story information that has been shared, the range for when it takes place is somewhere between 7 and 2 BBY, the abbreviate standing for the Battle of Yavin.

With that range being pretty solid, there are some canon events players might run into. Let’s now look at 10 of them that could be seen.
10The Kessel Run
This couldn’t be something that Cal and crew witnesses firsthand, but that doesn’t mean they couldn’t hear tales of a famed pilot that goes by the name of Han Solo. How would Cal respond to hearing about this Solo guy breaking the record for a Kessel Run at 12 parsecs?
There is a way for them to indirectly come in contact with one another and it could be neat for Cal to come across a parked Millenium Falcon that happens to be sitting on one of the planets Cal visits on his journey.

9Admiral Thrawn’s Cruelty
This isn’t an exact event, but the time in which Kal is coming into his crosses over directly with Admiral Thrawn’s golden years before his disappearance. Players could get the chance to hear about this blue-skinned admiral who’s violent, ruthless, and lacks any sort of empathy.

There’s very little chance that he appears onscreen at any point, but the sheer mention of him would spark goosebumps in fans. Admiral Thrawn was a well-crafted Legends character that’s managed to make his way into canon in a great way.
8Mothma Forming The Alliance
A very important event many people gloss over is when Mon Mothma resigns from the Imperial Senate. After doing so she helps create the formation of an Alliance whose sole purpose is to restore the Republic. This is the Rebel Alliance, which would be instrumental in fighting back the Emperor, Darth Vader, and the rest of the Empire.
Mothma is a character who is respected for her contributions but is never seen as that important of a figure despite her being responsible for major change.

7Qi’ra Running The Crimson Dawn
After the end ofSolo: A Star Wars Storyfans come to find out that Qi’ra assumed everyday control over the Crimson Dawn crime syndicate. They also find out that she will answer directly to Darth Maul, arguable everyone’s favorite Sith. It could be interesting to see Cal and crew have to deal with the Crimson Dawn.
Whether that results in a direct conversation with Qi’ra or not doesn’t matter, but it would be great to at least get a mention of the character. Here’s hoping it happens.

6Chopper Base Destroyed
Now, many people who are Star Wars fans likely wouldn’t remember the Chopper Base on Atollon and why it’s important, but boy was it. The base wasdemolishedby forces led by Admiral Thrawn in 2 BBY, about a year before his disappearance into hyperspace with Ezra Bridger.

This attack led to rebels having to evacuate and relocate to Yavin 4, a base for the Rebel Alliance. This would culminate in the Battle of Yavin which resulted in the Rebel Alliance taking up residency on the planet of Hoth.
5Ezra Becoming Kanan’s Padawan
The story of Ezra Bridger and Cal Kestis might be similar enough that the events surrounding the former could greatly inspire the latter’s journey. Both of them are Padawan and it seems that, like Ezra, Cal will get the opportunity to learn from a real Jedi. If both Ezra and Cal’s journeys run parallel to one another it could be neat to see the difference in their approach.

Ezra is very much a freedom fighter whose master sacrifices himself for the greater good. Could Cal live with himself if his master had to do the same?
4Darth Maul’s Final Days
In around 2 BBY Obi-wan Kenobi finally gets the opportunity to put an end to the evil Sith known asDarth Maul. In the range of years the game is expected to take place in there’s a wide range of possibilities in which Darth Maul could appear or be mentioned.
Whether it’s his final dual with Obi-Wan on Tatooine, or maybe his everyday oversight of the Crimson Dawn, the red and black villain could make a terrifying impression on Cal. Here’s hoping he’s in the game one way or another.

3Siege Of Lothal
The Siege of Lothal by the Empire directly follows the events in which a Rebel informant known as Fulcrum was revealed to be a Jedi named Ahsoka. Hearing about Emperor Palpatine unleashing Darth Vader on people like some sort of lap dog could be implemented in a way to show how it helped build the reputation for both of them.

It’s highly unlikely that Cal fights or is near Darth Vader due to it not making sense in the canon, but seeing him from a distance or hearing about him secondhand could work well.
2The Death Of A Jedi
There comes a point around 1 BBY when Kanan Jarrus sacrifices himself so Ezra and the rest of the crew of the Ghost can get away and save themselves. The death of a Jedi is never a small moment, and for a game in which a Padawan is growing and learning to become a Jedi, hearing about a sacrificial death could play a huge role in Cal’s development.
Since the game will bid heads with many events fromStar Wars: Rebels, there are many great moments Cal could hear about along the way.

1What Happened To Thrawn & Ezra
At the end of theRebelsshow, fans were left wondering about what happened to Ezra and Admiral Thrawn. They were last seen making a jump intohyperspaceand disappeared never to be seen again. The showrunner Dave Filoni later confirmed that they both survived the trip but wouldn’t provide any more additional context.
If Cal hears about the freedom fighter and Jedi Padawan Ezra and later hears about his disappearance, it could help him understand how quickly one’s life can change course.
