As one of the most venerated shooting-game players of this generation,Shroud scoring spectacular killsshouldn’t really surprise anyone who knows anything about him. Nevertheless, viewers simply can’t help but shake their heads in wonder when seeing a new occurrence of it happen.
One of such occurrences took place inCall of Duty: Modern Warfare’s new C.O.D.E. Bowl contest, and the internet managed to get a clip of it.

User wondrs posted said clip up onto Reddit. It seesShroudas the last man standing on his team, finding himself in a 3v1 situation that throws enemies at him from all sides. Instead of dying like most other players would, though, Shroud instead opts to kill everyone else with incredibly well-placed shots. Using simple flicks of his pistol, Shroud dispatches all the remaining members of the opposing team with almost no effort at all, killing his first two opponents with one bullet to the head each and the last with two to the chest.
Any viewer that didn’t know any betterwould probably think that Shroud was cheating. His reaction time in this clip is something to marvel at. The first two kills don’t even look possible without playing the clip in slow-motion, but the simple fact that they call for that proves just how downright absurd they are. While the last kill wasn’t a one-shot like the first two, it’s just as impressive. The remaining player obviously knew where to find Shroud and initially had a 3v1 advantage but still couldn’t quite pull off the feat of defeating him.
In the end, Shroud’s team didn’t win the C.O.D.E. Bowl, but these particular kills of his are easily one of the highlights of the event. For those unaware, the C.O.D.E. Bowl is a new contest hosted by theCall of DutyEndowment non-profit organization. It places top-levelCall of Dutystreamers into teams with U.S. Army Esports members and then pits them against each other to see who comes out on top as champion.Shroud’s team lost to Courage’sin a very close Gunfight match, one that went on for ten rounds. The lose netted Shroud second place overall, but that isn’t anything to scoff at, especially considering how he made Courage’s side work to get the win. Besides, there’s always next year if Shroud decides to compete again.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfareis available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
