This all follows just a little over a week after the end ofRoblox’s The Classic event, which also drew criticism for the high cost of its retro rewards.
This Isn’t Roblox’s First Price Hike Recently
Roughly a month ago,another Redditor had called outRobloxfor increasing the base price of its head accessories to 75 Robux. Players responding to both posts are overall very disappointed with the decision to raise prices, with most indicating corporate greed as the reason behind them. Some others have also taken offense with theRobloxaccessory shop’s claims that 95 Robux equates to 34 cents, which seems to be a gross misrepresentation based on the conversion rate when buying Robux online. And about a month and a half ago, long-time players started lamenting theloss ofRobloxTix, an old login reward that players used to be able to exchange for Robux.
