While it is perhaps not as popular as its single-player counterpart,Red Dead Onlineis still a very fun experience in its own right. With tons of activities to complete, mini-games for players to enjoy, and a massive open world much likeRed Dead Redemption 2,Red Dead Onlinehas plenty for players to dive into.
As with other massive open-world multiplayer games, the true charm ofRed Dead Onlinecan only be expressed with multiple players. Playing this game alone is an entirely separate experience from playing it with friends, and playing with complete strangers offers another unique experience. Strangers can break the experience byphotobombing and killing aRed Dead Onlineplayeror make the experience by teaming up with each other.

However, recently a clip was posted to Reddit depicting a level of failed coordination that could only be achieved by two friends who decided to mess around together. In direct contrast to a video displaying therealism ofRed Dead Redemption 2horse riding, the clip showed two players attempting to swap horses while riding side-by-side.
The result of Reddit user Dismal-Economics9656’s attempt ended up looking like a moment straight out ofWWE 2K22rather than a successful action movie stunt. Rather than land on each other’s horses flawlessly, Dismal-Economics9656 actually appeared to grab their friend in mid-air and send them spinning to their eventual meeting with the ground. Meanwhile, the horses seem to have come to a complete stop, perhaps wondering if their humans could have used somebetterRed Dead Onlinesaddlesto stay off the ground.
Other Reddit users thought the clip was hilarious, cracking jokes and relating to the clip in equal measure. One user joked they performed the same maneuver but with a cactus as their partner. Another user stated that this is the wayRed Dead Onlineplayers perform a high-five. In an almost unbelievable moment, a user claimed they actually pulled the move off, saying they and their friend managed to land on each other’s horses. While this seems far-fetched, the idea that Dismal-Economics9656’s dream is attainable should bring enough hope to inspire a second attempt. Hopefully this leads to another hilarious mid-air suplex between Dismal-Economics9656 and their friend.
Regardless of the success or failure of a second attempt, this first attempt was hilarious. In the meantime, Dismal-Economics9656 and their friend should probably brush up on theirRed Dead Onlinehorse tips, as currently it looks as though they have been auditioning for a TV show about hijinks and stunts gone wrong.
