Zack Snyder’s Justice Leagueoffers viewers a detailedaccount of Victor Stone’s journeyfrom a football star at school to becoming a being with a cybernetic body, with the ability to interact with other technology. There is a lot of emphasis on his relationship with his father, Silas Stone, who is absent from big events in Victor’s life, such as winning an important football game. According to Fisher’s tweet, he felt a similar absence in his personal life and while Cyborg goes on to become a hero and a member of the Justice League, for Fisher, “family and reconciliation are some of the biggest takeaways” from the film.

As a scientist in S.T.A.R. Labs, Silas is the one who uses the power of one of the Mother Boxes to create Cyborg. While it takes him time to accept his transformation,Cyborg’s character progressionis wonderfully depicted inZack Snyder’s Justice League. From someone who refuses to listen to his father’s recording about how his new form was created to becoming someone who is willing to sacrifice himself for the greater good, Cyborg is truly the heart of the film, as Snyder promised.

Snyder has previously confirmed thatJustice Leaguewas meant to introduce the DC character to the world, eventually leading to a solo film about him. When Joss Whedon took over, most ofCyborg’s scenes were cutfrom the theatrical version of the film. At the time of its release, DC fans expressed their displeasure with the way Cyborg’s story was handled. They have shown their support for Cyborg and Fisher from the start, even when the actoraccused Whedon of abusive behavioron the sets ofJustice League.

But, with the Snyder Cut now streaming, fans can finally understand Cyborg’s struggles and his reasons for joining the Justice League. And in true Fisher style, the actor urged his fans to “break the internet” while streaming the “#SnyderCut.”
