Private Division, the subsidiary of Take-Two focusing on supporting and publishing independent games, has made waves since its formation in 2017.Kerbal Space ProgramandThe Outer Worldsare just two of the great games the publisher has helped produce so far. NowPrivate Divisionis ready to reveal its next wave of upcoming partners. Wednesday morning Private Division revealed three confirmed game deals with three major indie studios.
The first deal is going to be a big surprise to fans of theOrifranchise. Moon Studios, developers ofOri and the Will of the WispsandOri and the Blind Forest, won’t be partnering with Microsoft Studios for its next game. Private Division confirmed that it will be publishing Moon Studios' next game. Further, Moon Studios later confirmed that the game it’s making for Private Division is an action-RPG, which will be exciting to see come to fruition.

Second on Private Division’s list of new publishing partnerships is Roll7. Roll7 is best known by modern gamers for itsOlliOlliseries of skateboarding games. Most recently, however, Roll7 put out theTron-like competitive gameLaser League. Roll7’s next release, whatever it may be, is highly anticipated. And Private Division is apparently as excited for it as Roll7’s fans.
Third on the list is the youngest studio on this list, but still with a ton of potential. It’s League of Geeks, whose first gameArmellowas very well-received.Armellois a fairy-tale board gamewith tactical action and RPG elements. It’s done so well that League of Geeks has spent the last five years continuing to produce content for it.Armellowas self-published, so League of Geeks must have bigger plans for its next game if it’s partnering with Private Division.
All three games beingpublished by Private Divisionhave not been officially announced, as of yet. Private Division is simply building up excitement for these studios' next projects. Expect to hear news regarding each individual project as they move forward in development in the months, and potentially years, to come.
These aren’t the only three projects Private Division is working on, of course. The publisher has previously announced that it’s working with Intercept Games onKerbal Space Program 2, with a planned release window of Q3 2021. It also recently launched Disintegration from V1 Interactive in June. And there are likely more games that haven’t been announced yet. Expect more announcements fromPrivate Divisionin the future.
