Developer Re-Logic confirmedTerraria’s impressive new sales numbers in a June “State of the Game” post from the team. ReLogic shared the news that the game had officially sold more copies than Nintendo’s classicSuper Mario Bros.on the NES. As of June 2024,Terrariahas sold over 58 million copies, beatingSuper Mario Bros.' 58 million. In 2021,Terrariareached 35 million copies sold. The last update regardingTerraria’s sales numbers was shared back in 2022, with the game hitting the 44 million mark. Re-Logic stated the reason there hadn’t been an update in over two years was because the studio was purposefully waiting to reach this new “Mario” milestone.
