Invaders from Beyond Now Available in Fallout 76 Until May 14

After featuring in Season 8, 10, and 13, Invaders from Beyond is now once again making a return in theongoingFallout 76Season 16. The latest edition of the event kicked off on April 30 and will run until 12pm ET on May 14. As per usual, there will be 24 such activities per day, one at the top of every hour. Social media chatter indicates that the return of Invaders from Beyond has been welcomed by the fandom, with many players pointing to it as one of their favorite in-game events to date.

Fallout 76 Invaders from Beyond Possible Event Locations

Aside from featuring unique enemies, Invaders from Beyond also stands out from the rest of the game’s activities for several other reasons. E.g., it is one of the select few events that aren’t static, but can actually spawn across half a dozen locations across theFallout 76map of Appalachia. Another standout feature is its selection of random rewards, which includes a plan for the Alien blaster. Between its high rate of fire and immense single-shot damage, the Alien blaster has long enjoyed a reputation as the best energy pistol inFallout 76, if not the game’s best overall handgun.

Fallout 76 Invaders from Beyond Guaranteed Rewards

Invaders from Beyond is also fairly fast-paced, at least relative to other high-level events. And while a team of five or more veteran players can complete it in under ten minutes, it is still not a walk in the park. That’s largely because the Zeta aliens hit hard and are one of the rare few enemies inFallout 76that wear head armor, thus not being weak to spamming V.A.T.S. headshots, a common strategy among players.

Each rare plan has a 5.26% drop chance until the player starts obtaining the non-repeatable ones. From there, the odds of getting any given plan reward can rise up to 12.5%.

Like the previous four iterations of Invaders from Beyond, this event is also memorable for how it affects the rest of the game, even when it’s not actively taking place. Namely, aliens now have a chance of appearing in numerousotherFallout 76eventsfor as long as Invaders from Beyond remains in rotation, whether as replacements for some enemies or in addition to them. In other words, theFallout 76fandom is in for two immensely hectic weeks ahead.
