Pokemon GOwill experience a seven-hour downtime today from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. PDT, and while many will hope this means a significant update, it seems to be for a practical reason. Some fans have speculated that this downtime will be so that the team behind the game can change servers and this task would align with the significant downtime that is required. This change will likely lead to an improved performance for the game when it is online and with that in mind, many players will appreciate the time taken to undergo this change as it will probably benefit them in the long term.

Once this downtime is over, it seems that there will be plenty to do inPokemon GO. Many are looking forward tothe throwback challenge onPokemon GOthat launches on June 3rd and it looks like players will have plenty of reasons to return to the title after this seven-hour absence.
