The next season ofPokemon GOis due to start on June 1, and Niantic has detailed the rewards players can expect to receive in the coming weeks and months. The Shared Skies season ofPokemon GOwill begin on June 1, and Niantic has already confirmed some dates for players to mark on their calendars.
The next fourPokemon GOCommunity Dayshave been confirmed as June 9, June 22, July 21, and August 31. During these days, players will see an increased number of featured Pokemon in the mobile game and have a chance at adding a rare shiny form to their PokeDex. Along with the monthly Pokemon Community days, gamers will see a new season begin, and with it comes a host of new rewards to pick up.

The Shared Skies season will begin inPokemon GOon June 1 and run until September 3. During this time, players will get season-long bonuses. Trainers will get increased XP for the first catch of the day, along with being able to make one additional daily special trade. Players level 31 and over will also have a higher chance of receiving Candy XL from their buddy Pokemon. The Pokemon encountered through the weekly research rewards will include Hisuian Growlithe, Larvitar, Audino, Axew, Furfrou and Jangmo-o. Players will have a chance to catch each of these in their shiny form, including Jangmo-o, as the Gen-7 Dragon-type will debut its shiny form shortly after GO Fest 2024.
Gamers will receive Timed Research each month at no extra cost throughout the season, on top of more frequentPokeStop showcases. The PokeStop showcases inPokemon GOoffer players the chance to show off certain Pokemon, with the winning trainers earning a wealth of rewards. The showcases will run from Saturday to Sunday and Monday to Tuesday each week. However, the criteria of each challenge are being kept under wraps for the time being.
The biggest event to feature within the Shared Skies season inPokemon GOis this year’s Go Fest. The event takes place in Sendai, Madrid, and New York before rolling out to the rest of the world on June 13-14. Players who purchase a ticket to the event will have the chance to capture the mythical Marshadow along with the Legendary beast Necrozma. Theintroduction of Necrozma in raids during Go Fest 2024will bring a new fusion mechanic that allows players to fuse it with the Generation 7 legendaries Lunala and Solgaleo.
The 7th Generation of games will feature heavily in the Shared Skies season. Along with Necrozma’s introduction, players can expect different Pokemon to be encountered throughout the season. Alola’s Ultra Beasts Kartana, Pheromosa, Buzzwole, and Nihilego will return to raids and be joined byMega Rayquaza, who hasn’t been in the game since last year’s Go Fest.
