Necrozma, meanwhile, made its anticipated debut at thePokemon GO Fest 2024in-person events in Sendai, Madrid, and New York City. Introduced in Gen 7, Necrozma is a Psychic-type Pokemon with a vaguely humanoid form. Although Necrozma doesn’t evolve from or into any Pokemon, the Legendary has three alternative forms; Dusk Mane Necrozma, Dawn Wings Necrozma, and Ultra Necrozma. With its debut confirmed at Pokemon GO Fest 2024: Global,Pokemon GOplayers worldwide are excited to get their shot at catching Necrozma. Now,Pokemon GOhas shared new information that will make having a Necrozma even more thrilling.
Pokemon GOhas revealed that Necrozma fusions will have access to new abilities called Adventure Effects. When Necrozma fuses with Solgaleo in Dusk Mane Necrozma, the Pokemon will learn the Charged Attack Sunsteel Strike. This attack can be activated using 3,000 Stardust and 3 Necrozma Candy and will have a duration of 10 minutes. During this period, Pokemon that appear only during the daytime, such as Cottonee, Pidgey, and Formantis, will be attracted similarly toPokemon GO’s Incenseeffect. If a Pokemon can only evolve during the day, it can evolve at any time while the Sunsteel Strike is active. The effect timer can be extended by using more Stardust and Necrozma Candy.
Pokemon GO Unveils New Adventure Effects for Necrozma Fusions
For its part, Necrozma’s fusion with Lunala, Dawn Wings Necrozma, will learn the Charged Attack Moongeist Beam. LikeDusk Mane Necrozma, Dawn Wings' Adventure Effect lasts 10 minutes and is activated using 3,000 Stardust and 3 Necrozma Candy. The difference is that while it’s active, Moongeist Beam will attract Pokemon that appear specifically during the nighttime, such as Hoothoot, Amaura, and Cleifairy. While active, the Moongeist Beam will allow nocturnal Pokemon to evolve at any time, and the duration of this effect can also be extended.
Like the in-person Pokemon GO Fest 2024 events, Necrozma will be available globally in five-star raids, with the chance for players to find a shiny one. Tofuse Necrozma with Solgaleo and Lunala,Pokemon GOtrainers need 1,000 Solar/Lunar Fusion Energy, 30 Necrozma Candy, and 30 Cosmog Candy. Necrozma remains fused until thePokemon GOtrainer undoes the process, with no cost of Fusion Energy or Pokemon Candy.
