Pokemon GO Player Gets Incredibly Lucky With First Spawn From Daily Adventure Incense

APokemon GOplayer recently posted an incredibly lucky chance encounter after using the Daily Adventure Incense. The Daily Adventure Incense doesn’t guarantee Pokemon of any high rarity when used, so the rarity of this first spawn is something not manyPokemon GOplayers will likely experience.

Pokemon GOis still actively adding new Pokemon from the most recent generations of the main series games to its mobile platform. Currently, the popular app is in the process of addingthe 89 new Pokemon and various regional formsfound in generation 8, AKA everything fromPokemon Sword and Shield. Three of the most exciting Galarian regional forms from those games are for the original legendary bird trio, Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres. One lucky player stumbled across one of the legendary trio on their very first spawn while using the Daily Adventure Incense.

A Reddit post from u/DONTCARELOLK shows off a fairly unorthodox Daily Adventure Incense summary, with only one Pokemon having been caught and that Pokemon being the rare Psychic-Flying Galarian form of Articuno. All the Galarian forms ofthe powerful legendary bird Pokemon triocan only be found in the wild via the Daily Adventure Incense. They’re even harder to catch than they are to find, though, with a base catch rate of 0.3% and a flee rate of 90%. That makes it all the more surprising that the poster was able not only to find one of these birds on the first spawn of a Daily Adventure Incense, but to catch it considering how they said in a comment it was a botched throw with, “no catch bonus.”

TheDaily Adventure Incense arrived around a year ago onPokemon GOand is one of the best additions to the game since it launched back in 2016. It’s an item that encourages a lot of walking during its use while simultaneously enabling players living anywhere, not just those fortunate enough to be near all the good Gyms in a city, to catch rare Pokemon. This item allows even a gamer living in the Eurasian Steppe somewhere in rural Siberia to catch all 3 of the rare Galarian-Form legendary bird Pokemon.

There are quite a fewrare Pokemon that can be found using the Daily Adventure Incense, even outside Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres. Other posters on thePokemon GOsubreddit have come across valuable finds like Jangmo-o, Elgyem, and even a shiny Charizard. So the poster is definitely lucky, but some players get even luckier with their 15 minutes.
