Pokemon GOrotates its top tier Battle Raid bosses in and out of the game pretty frequently from month to month as different events come and go, but February 2021’s Battle Raid rotation schedule is looking even more busy than usual. The excitement kicked off in late January as the first two-thirds ofthe Johto Beasts trio began appearing, but the excitement definitely continues throughout the coming weeks and will even bring some Mega Raids to keep the challenges coming.
Interestingly, February is really shaping up to be a throwback month with focus on a lot of the oldest Legendary Raid Bosses inPokemon GO. Luckily, many of these Legendary Pokemon from the first two generations of the franchise are actually very powerful and still can hold their own inthePokemon GOmetagame. The Kanto and Johto Legendaries all have their strengths and both PvP and PvE players can likely put them some additional high IV copies to good use in the game.

Some of these older Legendary Pokemon also have the chance to be shiny encounters as well, so that will help draw the collector’s out and into the Battle Raids, as well. For players who haveextra Premium Battle Raid passesto burn or aren’t interested in the Legendary Pokemon, there will also be some powerful Mega Raids to take on. This month features a long list of Mega bosses including a surprise Mega-Evolved Pokemon that will show up from Tuesday, July 20, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. through Saturday, July 10, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. local time…
