ThePokemon GOFest activities are finished, but there is still a lot of excitement to come throughout the rest of the summer. There were someamazing Legendary Battle Raids featured during Day 2 of the eventand trainers had a chance to secure some powerful encounter rewards by participating. Luckily, some powerful Raid bosses are going to continue to appear throughout August 2021, as well.
The August calendar of events is already confirming some pretty exciting Mega and Legendary Battle Raids that will show up this month. There are no major new debuts listed on the public calendar, but there are some very popular bosses like Palkia and Dialga making a return throughoutthe Ultra Unlock Reward eventsthat have already started. The raid lineup is going to make it very tempting forPokemon GOtrainers to fly through a lot of Premium Raid Passes during the coming three to four weeks.

The August Legendary and Mega Raid schedule is now live and the Legendary creatures from the Sinnoh region are back in the spotlight. Both Palkia and Dialga are still pretty important in terms of impact onthePoGOPvE metagamewhich should help keep the 5-star raids in high demand during the majority of August. There’s also some mystery about which Legendary Pokemon will be appearing in 5-star raids after August 20, so that will likely be an exciting surprise that helps makes raiding a popular activity during the final week of the month, as well.
August 2021 5-Star Raid Schedule
The following Pokémon will be appearing in five-star raids throughout August.
Dialga will continue to appear in five-star raids until Friday, August 04, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time. If you’re lucky, you might find a Shiny one!
Palkia will be appearing in five-star raids from Friday, August 06, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. to Friday, July 25, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time. If you’re lucky, you might find a Shiny one!

August 2021 Mega Raid Schedule
In addition, the following Mega-Evolved Pokémon will be appearing in Mega Raids.
Mega Charizard X will continue to appear in Mega Raids until Friday, July 10, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
Mega Ampharos will appear in Mega Raids from Friday, July 22, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. to Friday, July 29, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
Mega Beedrill will appear in Mega Raids from Friday, July 02, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. to Thursday, June 29, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
Mega Pidgeot will appear in Mega Raids from Thursday, August 04, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. to Wednesday Aug 01, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
As always, it’s possible that additional Battle Raids may show up as surprise events come and go throughout the coming month and that there are already some surprises promised for the last week of the month. Keep an eye on the nearby radar for anything particularly exciting or surprising as June arrives within the next few days.
