Persona 5 Strikerscan be a bit tricky if players aren’t at the right level. Monarchs take longer to defeat, and Requests grow more challenging as the story advances. Some Jails have enemies that give out more XP than others. Therefore, it’s important to know what places to fight in and which enemies are worth defeating.

The best way to have a good team is to have everyone around the same level. This is because stronger enemies in the postgame will have Affinity weaknesses that other Phantom Thieves can easily cover instead of relying solely on Joker’s Wildcard abilities. Unfortunately,Persona 5 Strikerscan be very XP grindy, and team members won’t gain much XP when they’re benched. When grinding XP, it’s best to switch out the Phantom Thieves so everyone can level up around the same pace.

Complete Requests and Defeat Bosses

More Requests will be unlocked as the Phantom Thieves make their road trip around Japan. Completing Requests also give Bond Points, which can be used to unlock Bond Skillsthat increase loot, raise stats, and more.

The Requests worth doing are the ones that require players to defeat the Jail Kings. Kings can be challenged again after they’ve been defeatedfor the first time. Requests can be accepted/declined once the mechanic is unlocked, so always check for the red/white checkmark and REQUEST logo in the hub worlds.

Other notable bosses to defeat is Metatron and the Reaper, the latter being a recurring threatin thePersonaseries. Bring a solid team (recommended: Wolf, Sophie) and have Joker equipped with the best Personas to make the fight a little easier.

Defeat Treasure Demons

InPersona 5, the Phantom Thieves were first introduced to enemies calledTreasure Demons in Madarame’s Palace. These are docile enemies that won’t attack, but will instead try to flee from battle. The only way of defeating them was by targeting their Affinity weakness or by using Almighty skills.

InPersona 5 Strikers, defeating Treasure Demons functionsthe same way as it did inPersona 5/Royal. Occasionally, players might see a red jewel with a pinkish/purple aura surrounding it. Attacking it will trigger a Treasure Demon spawn, and a 25-second timer will be placed at the top middle of the screen.

Finding the Treasure Demon’s weakness can be a hassle, especially since summoning Personas to scroll through their skillswon’t stop the timer. Here are all the Treasure Demons that can be found inStrikersand how they can be defeated:

While Joker can usually target Treasure Demons' weaknessesbecause of his Wild Card ability, it’s recommended to use other Phantom Thieves to target Treasure Demon weaknesses (if possible) so he doesn’t burn through SP.

In addition to XP, Treasure Demons also drop a lot of yenand are added to thePersonacompendiumif Joker remembers to pick up their Mask upon defeat. Treasure Demons can’t be used in combat, but they can be used to fuse stronger Personas.

Spend Bond Points on the Bond Skill:Treasure Hunterto increase the chances of Treasure Demons appearing in Jails.Defeating 10 Treasure Demonsalso unlocks the “Treasure Hunter” Trophy.
