Most recently though,Overwatch 2has announced a new collaboration with eyewear retailer Gentle Monster, introducing a new D.Va skin to the game with Gentle Monster rolling out the “GENTLE TOKKI” package which features a set of Gentle Monster eyewear based on D.Va’s iconic headgear. This eyewear comes in two different colors, with the mech-themed package itself not only including the eyewear, but also a soft case, an attachable D.Va figurine, and a redemption code that allows players to unlock the new GENTLE TOKKI skin in-game along with other virtual cosmetic items. This GENTLE TOKKI skin can also bepurchased in theOverwatch 2shopfor 2600 Overwatch Coins for a limited time only.
Fans looking to get their hands on the GENTLE TOKKI package itself though, including the eyewear, are going to need to rely more on luck. Gentle Monster has confirmed that the package will be distributed exclusively through an online draw, and will be gifted to a select number of lucky winners only. The draw operates on a limited-time challenge which requires participants to share posts of themselves via Instagram using a filterfeaturingOverwatch 2’s D.Vaand including the event hashtags. Fans may participate in the event from August 16 at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET until August 31 at 7:59 AM PT / 10:59 AM ET.
Interestingly, the new D.Va skin available inOverwatch 2as a result of this collaboration is, for one of the first times ever, a recolored version of a skin available in one ofOverwatch 2’s previous battle passes. This crossover with Gentle Monster may not add too many new cosmetics to the game itself, but it certainly keeps players curious about future events.
