In what was clearly an angry response to losing a game, Ninja stated, “[Came on] toFortniteto have some fun. First game I died to one of the sweatiest players I’ve seen in this f****g game, in a long time. Sypher has 150 shield yet gets heavy sniped from 200 meters away – gets knocked. Second guy, heavy snipes him, thirsts him, he’s dead. Launch pad over to me, minigun spray. It’s just so bad. It’s so bad. It’s not fun. I don’t have fun. Getting heavy sniped is not fun”. The player went on to lament heavy snipers and their inclusion in the game further. Despite an increasing amount ofrants by Ninjadirected atFortnite, the streamer frequently plays the title.
While many players are currently unhappy withFortnite,Ninja has been constructive in pointing our areas that could be improved.Fortniteis making changes and there are rumors of major updates it seems that the game is largely attracting negative attention bar its live events. It will be interesting to see how updates impact players and if Ninja continues playing the title which clearly annoys the player, or whether they will move on to a new title to regularly stream.
At the moment it seems that Ninja has not lined up a new game to move on to. With that said, the increasing popularity of other battle royale games may causeFortniteto experience some serious renovations to keep existing players. Equally the title may be looking into a new target audience and leaving annoyed players behind.
Fortniteis available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
