The world ofNieR Replicantis full of weird and unexplainable things. This extends to a number of the many side quests that players can accept. While some quests are as straightforward asgathering materials around town, some are stranger than they seem. This is true for the Fragile Delivery quest which requires the player to take a fragile parcel to The Aerie. It’s a task that’s more troublesome than it appears to be at first glance, but it can be completed easily with some helpful advice.
The Fragile Delivery quest becomes available after returning from the first dungeon ofNieR Replicant. One of the guards stationed at the gate to the Northern Plains will make the request. There’s a fragile parcel that should be delivered to the village chief of The Aerie. The emphasis here is on the word “fragile,” as the package will break if the player is hit by an enemy or performs a dodge roll. The availability of this quest coincides with some story events that will take the hero to The Aerie, but it would actually be advisable to put the quest off until a little later.

When the player first visits The Aerie to seek clues about the Sealed Verses, they will be forced into a number of enemy encounters. The Aerie is a village made up of many narrow bridges hanging over a deep chasm. Encountering enemies in these cramped conditions makes for a situation where it’s difficult to avoid getting hit and causing the parcel to break. Soon after speaking to The Aerie’s chief for the first time, the player will meetthe mysterious character Kainé. It’s after this story event that it will be most safe to take on the Fragile Delivery quest.
Troublesome shades won’t spawn in The Aerie proper after the first visit, but the player will still have to avoid enemies in the Northern Plains when making the delivery. Some players may manage to simply zig and zag their way through the plains without getting hit, but it could prove difficult for others. The best way to approach the delivery is to unlock the boar-riding feature by completing the “Boar Hunt!” quest. The rampaging wild boar can be a challenging foe, even forthe well-trained nameless hero. After completing that objective, though, a ridable boar will be waiting outside the home village to carry players through the fields unimpeded.
The fragile parcel should be delivered to the village chief at his golden house in The Aerie. With this quirky quest complete, players can work towards tackling some of the other side objectives that add depth to the game. Aside from quests with specific objectives, there are alsosecrets that are much more hidden. Every little thing that seems insignificant adds personality to the mysterious story of a fantastical world.
