Excitement has been building forAssassin’s Creed Valhallasince the game was announced through a compelling cinematic trailer. Thetrailer forAssassin’s Creed Valhallagave insight into a male protagonist called Eivor, but there’s also a female version of the character.. Another item has now been put online, only to be quickly removed, and fans are beginning to wonder what this means for the game.

The majority ofAssassin’s Creedgames have put players in unique historical settings where they must battle the Templars. While most of the games have featured male protagonists,Assassin’s Creed Odysseylet players choose the sex of their characterand it impacted the gameplay. Many players appreciated this and it seems that the nextAssassin’s Creedgame may do something similar although the only real indication for players has been through tweets and merchandise.

A picture that showcased the female Eivor was released as part of a sticker pack by Ubisoft but was almost immediately removed. Although there is already a  figurine that has been showcased in the Collector’s Edition of the game, it seems that Ubisoft is not talking about the female iteration of the character readily. Several fans have questioned why the sticker has been removed and why the fact that there is a female character option has been kept relatively quiet. The character has yet to be shown in any trailer and it is raising questions about thecanonical quests of both Eivors inAssassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Many fans will wonder why the female character who appears to be playable has not been included in the core promotional material for the upcomingAssassin’s Creed Valhalla. Some will expecta reveal at a gaming eventcloser to release, but that still begs the question of why Ubisoft isn’t ready to talk about her.

While some fans may not mind the fact that a sticker has been removed from a page, others will look for deeper meaning about what the game will offer. In those instances, players will find that there are still a lot of mysteries aboutAssassin’s Creed Valhallathat may only be revealed when the game is released. With that said, most players would like to know how many characters they can embody before the game is released.
