Micah Bell is a cunning and manipulative outlaw who is touted by many as one of the most horrid characters inRed Dead Redemption 2by quite some margin. He hates Arthur from the get-go and goes out of his way to insult him as much as possible.
He ultimately poisons Dutch’s mind while also betraying him in the process. His actions make him one of the most hated characters in the game, andwatching him breathe his last by the end of the narrativemakes for the perfect ending to a fun experience.
9Colonel Agustin Allende
Colonel Agustin Allende isthe corrupt governor of Nuevo ParaisoinRed Dead Redemption. He is cruel and ruthless, relishing in the torture of men and the ravaging of women to satiate his twisted desires, making him an easy person to hate in the game.
He tries to betray John Marston but ends up in the middle of the gunslinger’s crosshairs. No matter how much he begs to be spared, Allende is given a dishonorable sendoff from life by either Marston or Reyes, depending on how quickly the players decide to pull the trigger.
8Edgar Ross
Edgar Ross is a government agent who becomes one of the most evil and hated charactersacross bothRed Dead Redemptiongames. In the first game, he hires John Marston to hunt down his former gang members after threatening his family.

However, this cold and calculating character never had any intentions of honoring his deal, shooting down Marston in cold blood by the end of the story. It’s a sad end for a lovable protagonist, and players were happy to control his son and give this man the death he deserved after all this time.

Colm O’Driscoll is the leader of a rival gang inRed Dead Redemption 2, killing off Dutch’s sweetheart before the events of the game. He is violent and unpredictable, and his actions led to Sadie Adler losing her husband and embarking on a different life of killing and revenge instead.
He is a heinous individual who has no problem killing innocents andlooting towns without a care in the world. Ensuring that this man gets the hanging he deserves is one of the best parts of the game.

While he is initially seen as a father figure to the gang, his descent into madness is fuelled by the death of characters like Hosea. Over time, he falls for Micah’s manipulation and leads the gang to ruin, becoming a target inRed Dead Redemptionfor Marston to hunt down and kill.
5Colonel Henry Favours
Colonel Henry Favours is a cowardly military officer who attained this negative reputation with his antics during the Civil War. During the events of the game, he decides to target and kill innocent Native Americans in a bid to make himself feel powerful.
Any man who punches down on others to feed their own ego is a heinous individual, and Colonel Favours is no exception here. Thankfully, he does meet his end at the hands of Arthur Morgan, although this comes after Eagle Flies loses his life.
4Leopold Strauss
Leopold Strauss is a loan shark who helps Dutch’s gang attain a steady level of income that they desperately need to stay afloat. However, it’s the manner in which he goes about giving away loans that makes him such an evil character.
He actively preys on the poor and desperate, forcing them into huge loans with high interest rates that they simply have no hope of paying off without ruining their lives and taking on more debt. Most people argue thathis greed is the reason why Arthur got tuberculosis, although that’s a bit of a stretch.
3Andrew Milton
One of the detectives in the Pinkerton National Detective Agency,Andrew Milton is a no-nonsense individualwho wastes no time in hunting down Dutch and his gang on the orders of Leviticus Cornwall. His ruthlessness and determination lead to the gang suffering many tragic losses on the way.

Perhaps the worst thing done by this character is the heartless manner in which he executed Hosea in cold blood. It was a turning point for Dutch, who crumbled under the loss of his own friend and lost a huge part of what made him such a reliable leader.
2Vincente De Santa
If a character allows a heinous individual to do immoral acts at the cost of others without saying a word, then it can be argued that they’re just as bad, if not worse. Such is the case with Vincente De Santa, a corrupt Mexican army captain inRed Dead Redemptionwho lets his superior, Colonel Allende, perform horrible things without batting an eye.
Of course, it doesn’t help his case that he is pretty brutal and sadistic in his own right. He makes his enemies pay in the worst way possible in a bid to teach them a lesson and constantly showcases the depths of his immorality in the game time and time again.
1Arthur Morgan (Low Honor)
Arthur Morgan isthe beloved protagonist ofRed Dead Redemption 2, and players love everything he says and does…when his honor is high, that is. However, players pursuing a low-honor playthrough will be surprised by how ruthless and cruel he becomes.
This version of Arthur is driven by greed and violence, making him a stark contrast to the honorable version of the character. The manner in which he meets his end is also pretty brutal, which is perhaps a send-off he deserved for being such an immoral individual.
