Mob Psycho 100is the sister series of thehighly acclaimedOne Punch Manwritten and illustrated by ONE. It stars a socially awkward eighth grader, who also happens to be the strongest esper around, named Kageyama Shigeo, a.k.a. “Mob”. The show is filled with charming characters, wacky visuals, heart-warming narratives and of coruse, exciting action-packedclashes between many espers. Though the show takes on many anime genres, its mainstream popularity comes from how comedic it is.

The grounded humor in the show provides a good balance to the over the top action in the show, and makes the characters feel more relatable. The Psycho Helmet Club

In the final act of the previous season fans witnessed a fearsome clash between Mob and the leader of the terrorist organization known as Claw, Toichiro.In the aftermath of the fight Mob was able save Toichiroby releasing the huge amount of energy he had gathered into some broccoli seeds. This lead to the creation of a huge broccoli shaped tree, which now stands at the center of the city and is known as the divine tree.

Naturally, people became drawn to this mystical tree and formed a cult by the name of the Psycho Helmet Club to worship the tree. However, it seems as though something sinister might be brewing behind Mob and Reigen’s back. Fans can expect Mob to confront the cult in order to stop whatever it is that they are planning.

After being beaten by Mob early on in the series, Dimple, a self-proclaimed high class spirit, has been seen continuously aid Mob and his friends. Although his recent aligning with Mob has strayed him from his original goal to conquer the world.

This season fans can expect Dimple to go through a journey of self reflection that might prove to be somewhat inconvenient for Mob. Nevertheless, it will finally prove if Dimple truly is a friend of Mob’s or has he just been pretending to take advantage of bowl cut esper.

While true thatMob might be the strongest esperin the world, it does not mean that he has it all figured out. In fact, when it comes to real life situations Mob might just be the worst. While all others around Mob are deciding what they want to do with their lives, Mob continues to be unsure about his future goals.

Salt Middle’s school clubs have a recurring focus in this show. They have not only served to strengthen the narrative in the series but have been a source of endless wit and humor. With many members from the Telepathy and Body Improvement Clubs continuously being on Mob’s side during his adventures, it is natural that fans have grown accustomed to the presence of these clubs in the show.

However, with the final exams for the school year fast approaching,Tome Kurata will soon have to step down as the presidentof the Telepathy Club as she will be graduating. This club has always had a rocky history, but Tome has always managed to keep it afloat. Fans will have to wait and see what the future has instore for Tome and the Telepathy Club.

Being in love is hard as it is, but for the socially awkward Mob it has proven to be his biggest challenge so far. Mob has been crushing hard over Tsubomi Takane for as long as he can remember, but has never summed up enough courage to express his feelings to her.

Mob and Reigen, though not the most convenient duo, have formed one heck of a bond over the course of the series.Though Reigen is shown to be a self-centeredand greedy exploiter, he genuinely cares about Mob and has continued to provide him with guidance throughout the show’s run.

As Mob can be seen entering a very crucial stage of his life this season, fans can expect Reigen to continue watching over him the best he can. But what sort of support will Mob be needing this time around?
