Withso many things to do inMinecraft’s open world, it’s hardly surprising that millions of players across the globe are still engaged in creating and discovering. While the game is not really known for its violence, though there is some fighting involved, it seems that at least one person wanted to turn the apocalyptic dial up a little bit.
Considered to beone of the greatest open-world video games of all time,Minecrafthas stuck it out for well over a decade, breaking records and selling by the hundreds of millions. The appeal comes from the fact that almost anything can be actualized in-game, thanks to the built-in mechanics.Minecraftalso transcends age groups, and while it does tend to be associated with children, many adults are more than happy to take part in the blocky creativity. Given its lean towards younger players, it stands to reason that destructive violence is not a major mechanic, save for blowing up some TNT blocks, but that’s where one person comes into play.

MinecraftYoutuber Mysticat has managed to code in what could essentially be described as a Harry Potter-style wand whose main focus is to cause as much damage as possible. In an uploaded video, they can be seen shooting fireballs from a stick and causing mayhem across the land. But it doesn’t end there. Mysticat then makes the stick fire rockets, laying waste to a nearby village. The YouTuber then goes on to create their ownHalf-Life 2-esque gravity gun, an instant earthquake maker, and even a sniper rifle.
Anyone who knows this content creator is well aware of the kind of crazy antics they get up to in the game. In the past,Mysticat has made several silly things inMinecraft, including a sword that acts as a helicopter and a fully drivable tank. It shows the enormous creativity that exists in the community, as well as just what can be achieved in the sandbox game.
Because of this,Minecraftis basically infinite in terms of replayability. Despite releasing in 2011, or 2009 for those including the alpha build, Mojang’s IP remains at the top of the gaming food chain, and withMinecraft Legendscoming out next year, there is still so much life left in this world.
