Hanubia is the final region ofPlanet ZDRthat players will visit during a standard playthrough ofMetroid Dread. It’s a relatively small area with just as many boss fights as there are collectibles, meaning that players really won’t need to spend too much of their time exploring the area’s depths. In fact, there are only three upgrade tanks to find in total: two Missile Tanks and a single Power Bomb container.

This scarcity of resources makes Hanubia the most baron region inMetroid Dread, with even the tiny territory ofElun able to boast one additional Energy Tank. That said, assuming that players have been gathering resources as they make their way through the game, they should already be fairly well stocked by this point and so shouldn’t be too disappointed by Hanubia’s modest offering.
Every Missile Tank in Hanubia
Missile Tank #1
Players will be able to find Hanubia’s first Missile Tank during their initial visit to the region. Not long after passing a purple Wave Beam door and opening another door with the Grapple Beam, players will need to pass through a series ofMorph Balltunnels to reach the elevator down to Ferenia. The tank is in these tunnels, shortly after a row of blocks that will need to be destroyed using a Cross Bomb.
Missile Tank #2
After acquiring the Wave Beam anddefeating the Elite Chozo Soldier, players should make their way up towards the northern part of Hanubia. There, they’ll come across a yellow Total Recharge Station and, when they do, should fire a missile into the Morph Ball tunnel beneath it. This will destroy a hidden block, allowing players to roll into the tunnel and collect the region’s second Missile Tank.
Every Power Bomb Tank in Hanubia
Power Bomb Tank #1
To find the Power Bomb Tank in Hanubia, players will need to leave the E.M.M.I. patrol zone from the highest exit on the left side and then run straight through the following section. After passing through the door, they should flick the left analog stick down to preserve Samus' momentum and then place a bomb on the destructible blocks beneath them. As soon as it blows up, they’ll need to use Samus' Shinespark ability to tunnel straight down, which will clear the orange blocks and unblock a tunnel containing the tank.
