9Monster Inside

When Hulk first debuted in the comics in 1962’sThe Incredible Hulk#1,he wasn’t the green monster that fans know and love today, but he was instead a dim shade of grey that initially featured a powerful but dim-witted persona.

The Monster Inside outfit is a great callback to the early appearances of the Grey Hulk, which features the muted trunks and darkened tone while removing the other costume embellishments to give fans of the classic character an option to play inMarvel’s Avengers.

Marvel’s Avengersdidn’t stick with just adapting classic looks from the comics or films, and instead created a number of different original looks for the character, including the Turbulent outfit that almost presents a negatively reversed version of the character.

6Primal

The Primal outfit is one of a few that add tribal paint marking to the Hulk’s body along with variations of his costume, which not only looks great but also calls back to an alternate version of the character that was seen during theHouse of Mevent.

That version of Bruce Banner relocated to Australia where he befriended an Aboriginal tribe that honored him with similar painted markings. TheHouse of MHulk fought back against the mutant rulers of that reality and ended up taking over Australia alongside A.I.M. (Marvel’s Avengersvillains) to protect it as his new home.

WhenMarvel’s Avengerswas first released, players had the option of purchasing the Deluxe Edition, which included extra features like the Obsidian line of outfits, which gave the entire team of Avengers new matching uniforms, including theirmost powerful weapon.

While the other characters' Obsidian costumes modified their already existing costumes, Hulk gained a new pair of unripped pants (likely made from the Marvel Universe’s trusty Unstable Molecules) that followed the silver and gold color scheme of the rest of the Avengers, making this one of the few untattered costumes available for the Hulk.

Using a darkened version of the Broken outfit, Possessed covers the Hulk in chalky white bone-like paintings that make him look like an undead zombie. The paint extends down his arms and fingers to complete the skeleton-like look, while his face is similarly painted to bring a whole new dynamic to the character.

3Palm Springs/Cabana

The Joe Fixit version of the character wasfurther evolved inMarvel’s Avengersas the Hulk seemingly went on vacation to the Everglades with a fitting wardrobe that includes a fedora and knuckle rings for increased bling and damage.

The Palm Springs version of this outfit keeps the trademarked purple trunks and pairs them with designer shoes and a fancy undershirt, while the Cabana outfit changes up the colors and patterns for a more relaxed, yet equally menacing look at “retired” Hulk.
