When players first reach Haunted Towers inLuigi’s Mansion 2, they’ll have to get the water working once again. This is their task during the first mission in this mansion. After completing B-1, players will get access to news rooms and areas in Haunted Towers, and they’ll also be able to solve more puzzles and uncover more secrets than before.

How to Get Into the Hidden Maintenance Room
To get into the West Garden inLuigi’s Mansion 2, gamers will first have to find a way into the secret Maintenance Room. Unlike some of the other hidden rooms, the Maintenance Room and its door don’t show up on the map at all. It is located underneath the staircase that leads to the second floor of the Tower Lobby.To get into the Maintenance Room inLuigi’s Mansion 2, gamers have touse the Dark-Light Deviceon the wall beside the left-side entrance to the Greenhouse.
The West Garden is connected to the Maintenance Room thanks to the arch placed between the two. Even though there are no barriers here, gamers will have to take care of the carnivore Flytrap in order to freely enter the West Garden.
How to Get Past the Flytrap
The only way to get rid of Flytraps inLuigi’s Mansion 2is to throw spikey plants at them. The plant will damage them and bring them down to zero health. There is a spikey plant sapling in the Maintenance Room, but it needs water to become sprout and harvestable.
There is a missing pipe on top of the stairs, which prevents the water from reaching the Maintenance Room. However, gamers can flash the Dark-Light Device in its direction to place the hidden pipe and get running water down to the Maintenance Room. It will immediately start flowing and bring the sapling to life, which will cause a spikey plant to appear.
Players can grab the spikey plant by sucking it up with the Poltergust 5000 (ZR). If they turn in the direction of the Flytrap, a marker will appear over it. Once it does, press the blow button (ZL) to throw the spikey plant at the Flytrap and eliminate it.The West Garden in Haunted Towers will then be clear of enemies, allowing gamers to safely the chest andgrab the Emerald Geminside.
