Life is Strange: True Colorsis primarily about solving the mystery of who is really responsible for Gabe’s death. In between dramatic revelations and emotional turmoil are some sweet moments between Alex and the residents of Haven Springs.
Steph helps construct one of the game’s more memorable sequences by planning a LARP to help cheer Ethan up after Gabe’s death. This live-action role-playing game takes inspiration from Ethan’s fantasy comic, so Alex has to dress up as a bard. To do this, players must find her guitar and bard hat in her apartment near the start of the chapter, after pickingSteph or Ryan as a distractionand stealing the USB stick from Diane.

Where is the Hat in Life is Strange: True Colors?
Alex’s guitar is pretty easy to spot, leaning against the foosball table, but her hat is a little trickier to locate. She needs it to complete her bard ensemble and progress with thestory-heavy gameplay, so head over to the couch in front of the TV.
The hat in Chapter 3 ofLife is Strange: True Colorscan be found in the chest to the left of the couch. Just head over and interact with it, and the red bard hat can be spotted in the top-left corner inside the chest. There’s also a key in the top-right corner that will open a key to the locked desk drawer that contains something of Gabe’s. There’s no Trophy/Achievement attached to finding the item, but it’s a nice character moment for Alex.
However, the look isn’t complete without the hat’s missing feather. After taking the hat from the box,go to the TV and check the floor under it to find the feather. Players can now leave to take part in the LARP, and should keep a lookout for the 4collectible Memory locations in Chapter 3 ofLife is Strange: True Colorsduring the fun segment.
After the LARP, players will soon have to make one of themost important decisions inLife is Strange: True Colors, so players should enjoy the ridiculousness of role-playing as a bard before the game delves into troubling character emotions again.
Life is Strange: True Colorsis out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and will release later for Switch.
