Like many otherLEGOtitles,LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagais packed with references and Easter eggs to be found by players. From giving Qui Gon Jinn aTakenreference to giving Dominic Monaghan’sStar Warscharacter a Hobbit’s second breakfast, the latestLEGO Star Warsgame has plenty of nods to other IPsfor fans to explore. However, alongside these Easter eggs involving other media, the game has plenty of other references toStar Warsitself.
Most of these Easter eggs inLEGO Star Wars: The SkywalkerSagaare jokes, such as a running gag aroundLuke’s love of blue milk inThe Last Jedi. Yet, there are some darker Easter eggs to be found in the game as well, particularly relating to one droid that can be found wandering the back alleys of Mos Espa. The droid looks rather like the silver C-3PO that appears inEpisode 1: The Phantom Menace, and can be found in the background of a scene in that film as well.

According to officialStar Warslore, the droid is known as Nobot, a strange name considering the franchise’s avoidance of the word robot. From there though, Nobot’s story only gets stranger and darker. Prior to the events ofEpisode 1, Nobot was allegedly witness to the murder of a pregnant woman, after which he returned to Mos Espa covered in blood. Thankfully, there’s no such scene available inLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, though, the story doesn’t end there for Nobot.
Following his return, Nobot was believed by the locals on Tatooine to be responsible for the murder, as he played audio recordings of the killing immediately after it happened. Since then, Nobot has wandered the streets of Mos Espa as he does inLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, being targeted by locals. Though, whenever people try to shoot at Nobot, their guns mysteriously jam, meaning he can’t be aspoorly treated as most of the droids inStar Wars. In the game, interacting with Nobot will see the player have a strange, one-off interaction with the potential murderer.
Nobot’s story has since been removed from the officialStar Warscanon, with Disney placing it into theexpansiveStar Wars Legends. For anyLEGO Star Wars: The SkywalkerSagaplayer who wants to have a creepy interaction with a potentially murderous droid, they can look no further than Mos Espa’s Haunted Hovel.
Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagais available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
