Games UK announced on Twitter that Luke Starkiller is coming toLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagaas a playable Minifigure and will be available to players for free. The Starkiller figure wields a yellow lightsaber which was more common in theHigh Republic era of theStar Warstimeline. This saber color makes sense considering that much like the High Republic period preceded The Skywalker Saga era, Luke Starkiller was the predecessor to one of entertainment’s most prolific sci-fi heroes in Luke Skywalker.
The Luke Starkiller LEGO figure also sports flowing golden hair much different than Luke Skywalker’s rounder haircut in the original trilogy. The hair combined with a cool black mask gives off a look that almost resemblesStar-Lord, the leader of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. Additionally, Starkiller’s orange pants are reminiscent of Skywalker’s orange Rebel flight suit. WB UK added another tweet with a short gameplay video featuring Luke Starkiller in combat. While he can only be heard grunting in the video it’s unknown whether he’ll share the same voice as Luke Skywalker’s Minifigure or if he’ll even have a voice at all.
