While it remains to be seen ifStarfieldseeks to pivot away from its less popular choices such as procedural generation, creating a space station builder implies that it will at least double down on its strengths. The ship builder inStarfieldremains one of its best received features, allowing players to design their own playable starship through a robust, modular system. A space station builder is the natural progression of that concept, and Odahfield claims that it will arrive in a futureStarfieldupdate.
Given thatShattered Space is expected to release in Fall 2024, a trailer during Summer Games Fest makes the most sense. Though most Bethesda players have moved on to older titles such asSkyrimandFallout 4, they may want to keep an eye out for June 9 and the Xbox Games Showcase to see what the developers have prepared forStarfieldin Shattered Space.
