The new content doesn’t seem to add a whole lot of hours over the original. On average, the new version ofKirby’s Return to Dreamlandwill take new players around 7-8 hours to complete. This is a very casual playthrough, going through each of the levels once and playing through a few of the mini-games. However, if players are looking to do everything, including thenewKirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxesub-games, and have little experience with the original, they can easily spend 12 or more hours attempting to get everything they can out of it.
Overall, some players might not see the newDreamlandas a worthwhile purchase if they already own this one for the Wii. However, there is one thing added that might have even long-timeDreamlandfans looking to pick up this new version: the Magalor Epilogue.
The Magalor Epilogue is a 1-2 hour additionthat was not in the original game. Players can unlock it after completing the main storyline, and it is playable with up to four people. With four unique levels, a neat boss, and some new powers, this newKirbycontent might be enough to pull in fans of the original version.
