InKirby and the Forgotten Land, Kirby is pulled into a world where he must save the Waddle Dees from never-before-seen enemies: the Beast Pack. This organization sends the strongest members of their council to face off against Kirby and capture Elfilin, a new friend who Kirby meets at the start of his journey. The bosses this time around take full advantage of the 3D gameplay, making it quite a challenge to defeat them.

There are a total of 11 bosses inKirby and the Forgotten Land, but the postgame has Kirby face off against stronger versions of these bosses. Once players unlock the Colosseum, these bosses can be fought consecutively depending on which level Kirby chooses to enter. With a handful of tough opponents inForgotten Land, it’s best to know which ones pose the bigger threat.
11Tropic Woods
Longtime fans of theKirbyseries will instantly recognize Tropic Woods as the Lost World’s version of Whispy Woods. This may cause some gamers to underestimate Tropic Woods, but he has new ways of attacking Kirby that go beyond dropping apples. Once Tropic Woods reaches half-health,he’ll stretch out his roots to hit Kirby. If it makes contact, Kirby will be pushed further away from Tropic. Getting up close to Tropic Woods will make him drop coconut bombs to ward off Kirby.
As Phantom Tropic Woods, he creates a maze that players need to navigate through all while tossing Gordos. What makes Tropic Woods easier than the other bosses is his immobility. Despite this, it’s best not to get cocky when battling him - especially Phantom Tropic Woods.

10Gorimondo
As a first boss, Gorimondo can be a wake-up call. He’s slow-moving, but he’ll move around the arena with a spinning attack after he reaches half-health. One of his Missions involves defeating him with the Sword Ability, meaning players will need to run up and attack him while dodging his stomps. Failing to break free of Gorimondo at the start of his cutscene ends up with him throwing Kirby to the ground, causing him to take damage andthus failing another one of Gorimondo’s Missions.
Phantom Gorimondo’s moves are mostly the same, but he’s faster and hits harder. Players will need to rely on dodging and blocking if they find themselves getting too close to him.

9King Dedede
King Dedede starts by sending Primal Awoofys after Kirby, and then he’ll charge into battle. While it’s easy to dodge King Dedede, he can still move fast and has an attack that sends out shockwaves by slamming his hammer into the ground. At half-health, Dedede will take a collapsed pillar and use that instead of his hammer.
When he strikes the ground, ice will burst from the cracks and freeze Kirby if he touches them. Since the pillar has a wider reach than Dedede’s hammer, Kirby can get hit even if he’s on the other end of the battlefield.King Dedede being able to keep Kirby awayin the second phase of his fight is what makes his battle difficult.

Phantom Dedede has more Awoofys at the start and will send out three Gordos when he picks up the pillar. Like other Phantom bosses, he’s faster and stronger.
8Clawroline
Clawroline is a quick opponent, a stark contrast to Gorimondo and Tropic Woods. Furthermore, one of her Missionsprevents Kirby from dodging by flying. Clawroline has a habit of surging across the field to attack Kirby with her claws. In the second phase, she’ll jump out of reach and attack Kirby with daggers from high up. During this phase, players won’t be able to attack her. Then, she’ll lunge at Kirby and send out a shockwave when she hits the ground.
As Phantom Clawroline, she is capable of duplicating herself and can potentially fool Kirby into attacking one of her phantoms. Her claw attacks also receive an upgrade, where she can send out bursts of energy.

7Sillydillo
Like Clawroline, Sillydillo is a fast enemy and has an instant kill move if Kirby isn’t able to break out of Sillydillo’s cage. In the second phase, Sillydillo will roll at Kirby before bringing one of his puppets to battle. With his “dance partner,“Sillydillo will spin around the battlefieldbefore swinging “her” at Kirby. During this, his attacks are harder to dodge.
Phantom Sillydillo will throw bombs before trying to cage Kirby, and when he summons the puppet, a sandstorm will sweep through the battlefield, making it harder to see.

6Fecto Forgo
Fecto Forgo is tricky because it’s a “chase boss,” where Kirby will need to run away and attack at intervals. He’s quite fast and is more spontaneous than Sillydillo. If Kirby’s not fast enough, it’s possible for him to get “caught” in Fecto Forgo’s body when it charges forward. Since it’s safer toattack Forgo at intervals, it can take a while before Fecto Forgo is taken down.
5Meta Knight
Meta Knight can be fought in the Colosseum and, like his past appearances, moves and attacks fast. He’s also gained the ability to deal out a combo on Kirby if Kirby doesn’t dodge, taking out a good chunk of his HP.

Phantom Meta Knight is mostly the same, but he attacks more with sword beams and will attempt to crush Kirby with volcanic landmasses. What makes him difficult is his tendency to fly “out of reach” andstrike Kirby from a distance.
4Forgo Dedede
Forgo Dedede uses two hammers to attack, but he’s also gained fire powers. He’ll send out fire tornados after a series of combos and will toss lava. By the second phase, Forgo Dedede will run around like a wild beast, making it harder to hit him and easier for him to harm Kirby.
Phantom Forgo Dedede gains a new move in his second phase where he can submerge half the battlefield in lava. This severely limits Kirby’s safe zone and makes him moresusceptible to Forgo Dedede’s fire powers.

3Leongar
Leongar has three different phases in his boss fight. He’ll send out weak enemies and then get up to fight Kirby himself. He attacks similarly to Clawroline, but is larger and stronger. By his third phase, Leongar’s attacks are more feral, and he can shoot a laser blast from his mouth. One of Leongar’s third phase moves has him running after Kirby on all fours, trying to bite him in a three-hit combo. Since Leongar’s fast, it can be difficult to dodge his attacks. Luckily, there aren’t any Missions for Leongar.
Phantom Leongar is even more difficult, being part of another three-stage fight and having higher defense. Players will be chipping away at his health points and by the time the true final boss comes out, Kirby’s health may be low. Phantom Leongar is there solely to weaken Kirby before Morpho Knight, and he does a good job at it.

2Morpho Knight
Morpho Knight fights similarly to Meta Knight but just adds more fire and tornados. It’s highly recommended to fight Morpho Knight with attack and speed buffs because he’s fought after Phantom Leongar.
Battle-wise, Morpho Knight will send out a shockwave that can distort the players' screen, tilting it and making it harder to attack.Morpho Knight only has two phases, and if players are used to fighting Meta Knight, they should be able to handle Morpho Knight too.
