Mario Golf: Super Rushis arriving just in time for the dog days of the vacation months.Nintendo and the Switch look to dominate summerwith some big titles, andMario Golf: Super Rushis one of those games. There are still some questions that some may have, however. And one of those has to do with multiplayer–and specifically split-screen.
Mario Golf: Super Rushhas been a long time coming, as it has been seven years since the last entry in the series withMario Golf: World Touron the 3DS, and eighteen years since the last console entry withMario Golf: Toadstool Touron the GameCube. Much of the fun that comes fromMario Golfis solo play, but playing golf with friends is also a massive part of the experience. AndMario Golf: Super Rushdoes indeed return with multi-player action.

Split-Screen in Mario Golf: Super Rush
Mario Golf: Super Rushdoes support split-screen multiplayer. There are a bevy of game modes that players will be able to enjoy via split-screen play. These modes include Standard Golf (3, 6, 9, or 18 holes), Battle Golf (9 holes), and the newly revealed Speed Golf (3, 6, 9, or 18 holes). Players can also enjoy various courses with these modes with multi-player split-screen action, andmore courses will come toMario Golf: Super Rushvia free updatesin time.
Mario Golf: Super Rushdoes have split-screen restrictions, however. Only two players are able to enjoy split-screen for each console. While it is possible to play with one to four players in various modes, it appears that that is only possible via local wireless and online play and or possibly in modes that allow for the taking of turns (i.e. not Speed Golf.)
More Multiplayer Options in Mario Golf: Super Rush
Another solid option for multiplayer action isonline play inMario Golf: Super Rush. All of the multiplayer modes support multiplayer action for up to four players as long as the users have Nintendo Switch Online. Players can also utilize split-screen action while playing online (or via local wireless play).
Mario Golf: Super Rushhas plenty of options for multiplayer mayhem. Split-screen is not a benefit that all games have anymore, so it is nice thatMario Golf: Super Rushhas it. Another multiplayer online game from The Big N that players have to look forward to in the coming months isMario Party Superstars. Nintendo is packing the multiplayer enjoyment into the second half of the 2021 calendar for its fans.
