Overwatchfans are always sharing clips online, with these videos ranging from funny mistakes to incredible showcases of skill. A recent Sigma clip falls into the latter category, as it displays flawless use of theOverwatchhero’s Gravitic Flux Ultimate.
WhileSigma fanscan make good use of all his abilities, Gravitic Flux is one that can be particularly powerful. The Ultimate ability sees the gravity-focused character lifting every foe within a certain area into the sky. After a brief moment of time, Sigma will slam them into the ground with plenty of force, and once enemies land they will lose half of their health. However, this damage was irrelevant to Reddit user Singer_Striking.

In the clip from theOverwatchplayer, a very close game of Dorado can be seen. The score is tied at 5-5, and the match has entered overtime, meaning that both teams are seconds away from winning or losing. The attacking team is only a few meters away from defeating the Sigma user’s group, as the yellow finish line can easily be seen. Unfortunately for the Sigma player, things quickly take a turn for the worst, as their team begins to die off one-by-one. With D.Va, Cassidy, Mercy, and Reaper all seen dying in the killfeed, hope seems to be lost for the Sigma player.
However, while their teammates were dying, the Sigma player made a smart flank behind the payload. After emerging from around the corner, they activatedGravitic Flux, grabbing most of the opposition with the Ultimate. With the overtime period having gone on for a while, the bar would tick down almost instantly if nobody was on the payload, and Singer_Striking used this to their advantage. With every enemy lifted into the air, and Sigma protected from their gunfire due to the platform above his head, the enemies were unable to touch the payload.
With the Sigma player being the sole survivor of their team, and so many enemies left alive, chances of victory were extremely slim. However, likeotherOverwatchclips, this footage is proof that a single ability can change the flow of the match. Sigma’s Gravitic Flux is the only reason that Singer_Striking’s team proved victorious, and it is easy to see why their post has racked up nearly 10,000 upvotes in the time since it was posted. With many comments praising the player or pointing out that the enemy Moira could have contested the payload to get her team the win, there is a lot to enjoy about the video.
With anOverwatch 2beta rumoredto be happening soon, perhaps Sigma players will get the chance to try out maneuvers like this on some brand-new maps. When it comes to Dorado, though, it will be tough for Sigma fans to outdo this play.
