Crossovers happen a lot in video games. With so many memorable characters from a wide variety of franchises, there’s no shortage to the possible meetings between video game icons. It’s exciting for fans to see their favorite characters from different series meet in the same game like intheSuper Smash Bros. series. Recently, one fan decided to combine elements ofOverwatchandTitanfallin the same drawing.
In a post on Reddit, a user called Bowen_Art wanted to showcase their passion forTitanfallandOverwatchby reimagining them as part of the same game. A drawing titled “Titanwatch” the artist uploaded took thearmored tank Reinhardtand the teleporting flanker Tracer fromOverwatchand reworked them to look like a Titan and Pilot from theTitanfallseries. The results of the transformation are quite astounding with the creator increasing the size of Reinhardt to match the scale of a hulking Titan. To help blend the games together, the artist chose red and yellow accents against a light gray background reminiscent of the main logo fromOverwatch.

Even though this newest drawing from Bowen_Art marks their first crossover design between the franchises, the artist is already planning another project. According to the creator, they plan to design anotherTitan and Pilot duoin the near future. Apparently, the Reinhardt and Tracer concept wasn’t the artist’s first idea for a crossover. Bowen_Art had another pair of characters in mind when first starting the project, but the creator decided to switch after feeling “that they didn’t really match anything related toTitanfall.” Upon the completion of the Reinhardt and Tracer drawing, the creator has decided to go back and draw the original duo in the coming days.
TheOverwatchandTitanfallcommunities on Reddit have been loving this new drawing created by Bowen_Art. Gaining over 3,600 upvotes in less than a day, fans were amazed at what Reinhardt might look like as a Titan. Throughout the comments, users flooded Bowen_Art with their suggestions for possible Titan and Pilot combos to design nextbased on popularOverwatchheroes. Some thought that Orisa reinvented as a Titan with Efi (the creator of Orisa) as the Pilot would be a good fit, while others believed that D.Va was a logical choice considering that she already pilots a mech.
It’s exciting when artists give fans a glimpse of what characters might look like in other games besides their own. With so many different heroes inOverwatch, it will be interesting to see which combo the artist decides to draw next.
