UFC 4has plenty of new mechanics that make fights much deeper and gives more strategy and variety to matches. Touching gloves is easy enough to perform and may just give players a slight edge at the start of a fight, or can simply be a nice way of asking for a good match.

This is no exception in EA Sports’ latest titleUFC 4, as the team has expanded the options that players can before. Whether it be offense or defense, players can perform new actions to capitalize or counter certain situations during a match. For example, players canperform takedowns and defend against them inUFC 4through a new grappling system introduced in this title.
Yet, before the match even begins, players can start to strategize through the use of the glove touch. Players can perform a glove touch inUFC 4by the LT trigger on Xbox One or the L2 trigger on PS4 right after the referee signals the start of the match. Players will need to move slowly to perform the glove touch. Additionally, players can fake out during a glove touch and catch the opponent unaware with an opening attack. This is an overlooked essentialbeginner’s tip to get started inUFC 4.
It’s obviously up to any given player if they want to reciprocate a glove touch at the start of the match. Players just need to be observant whether or not their opponent is sincere or looking for an opportunity to go for an easy hit. UFC 4seems like an incredibly solid and authentic fighting game, despite a few hiccups here and there. The presentation of the game is also top-notch, with solid graphics and animations.
