Before you can craft any new clothing and upgrade from the shoddy items you are wearing at the start of the game, you will first need to craft a Simple Sewing Bench. The bench, much likea Tanning Station, is a buildable component to your base that allows you to craft an assortment of clothing items from hats and gloves to shirts and pants. As you find cards and blueprints for new clothing items, you can bring them to the Sewing Bench to put them together.

While the Simple Sewing Bench is relatively easy to put together, you will need to grab the necessary components to craft it. To build one, you’ll need to collect10 Wood Bundles, 15 Fiber (of any kind), and 1 Bone. Wood Bundles can be acquired by cutting down trees, fibers can be collected straight from small plants in the grounds, and bones are available on slain animals.
