For instance, Harmony characters like Yukong are meant to perform as a buffer, so thebest Light Cones for YukonginHonkai: Star Railshould further emphasize this role. In this HoYoverse turn-based game, players can use Light Cone of different Paths, but the passive of the weapon will not trigger, which means Yukong should use Harmony Light Cones to get the most out of the equipment.

Passive
Upon battle entry, if an ally deals the same DMG Type as the wearer, DMG dealt increases by 12%.
Planetary Rendezvous is really situational as it only works in an Imaginary team, but considering Yukong + Luocha + Welt is a great setup, players can use this Light Cone on this setup.

Unfortunately, this weapon doesn’t work in any other Yukongteam comp inHonkai: Star Rail, so it may not be the most common choice among the player base. Not only for the fact that having both Luocha and Welt isn’t easy, but also because Planetary Rendezvous can only be obtained from Warping.

S5 Passive
After entering battle, increases the ATK of all allies by 12%. Effects of the same type cannot stack.
Chorus is the easiest option for new Trailblazers as it can be obtained easily. This3-starHonkai: Star Railweapongrants a 12% ATK boost at the start of the battle. This effect has no turn limit nor condition, so it’s somewhat like the Fleet of the Ageless Planar Ornament.

Of course, despite the decent passive, a 3-star Light Cone naturally has a lower base stat, which means players eventually would want to replace it with a better option, like the F2P Light Cone Past and Future.

Increases the wearer’s Break Effect by 28%. When the wearer attacks, additionally regenerates 4 Energy. This effect can only be triggered 1 time per turn.

Yukong’s Talent allows her to deal more damage to the enemy’s Toughness when she uses Basic Attacks. This means she’ll take away more than the typical 30 Toughness. Her Ultimate also reduces 90 Toughness from a single target, so the breaking task is rather easy for her.
Although an Imaginary break is not the best in terms of damage (the damage dealt when the break occurs is the lowest, and they offer no DoT debuff),Imprisonment comes with an action delay and slowing effect. So if Yukong is the one breaking the enemy’s Toughness, she can practically stop them from moving for a while.

While not the best Light Cone for Yukong and is quite situational, it’s a viable option if players know what they’re doing and are building her on Break Effect.
When the wearer uses their Skill, then the next ally taking action (except the wearer) deals 32% increased DMG for 1 turn(s).

To fully utilize Past and Future Light Cone, players must match the SPD of their DPS so that the damage dealer moves right after Yukong. This way, Trailblazers can ensure the DPS is benefiting from both the Light Cone’s buff and Yukong’s Roaring Bowstrings buff.

Past and Future is a F2P weapon that players can get from the Forgotten Hall shop. Therefore, this Light Cone is one of the best weapons for Yukong inHonkai: Star Railas players can eventually get it to maximum superimposition.

One of the following effects is applied randomly at the start of combat and whenever the wearer takes action: Increase all allies' ATK by 10%, increase all allies' CRIT DMG by 12%, or increase all allies' Energy Regeneration Rate by 6%. The applied effect cannot be identical to the last effect applied, and will replace the previous effect. The applied effect will be removed when the wearer has been knocked down. Effects of the similar type cannot be stacked.
Carve the Moon, Weave the Clouds is an amazing weapon, but players can only get it via the Battle Pass. The buff this weapon offers changes each time Yukong plays, but they’re all excellent effects, so no effect will end up getting wasted. The base ATK it has is alsohigher than most 4-star Harmony Light Cones, which can be great for Yukong to deal damage.
One bad thing about it is that players won’t be able to get it to maximum Superimposition unless they buy at least five Battle Pass, which will also take five versions.

Increases the wearer’s Energy Regeneration Rate by 10% and regenerates 1 Skill Point when the wearer uses their Ultimate on an ally. This effect can be triggered after every 2 uses of the wearer’s Ultimate. When the wearer uses their Skill, the next ally taking action (except the wearer) deals 30% more DMG for 1 turn(s).
But the Battle Isn’t Over is excellent ifplayers know how to properly SPD their characters, so it’s somewhat similar to Past and Future. However, of course, it also grants a far higher DMG bonus, has a better base stat, and offers some Energy Regeneration stat.
One thing players may not be able to fully utilize is its passive that restores one Skill Point when Ultimate is targeted on an ally. Unfortunately, Yukong’s Ultimate gives extra effect to her Roaring Bowstrings instead of her teammates, which means it may not be considered as targeting an ally.
Honkai: Star Railis now available on Android, iOS, and PC. A PlayStation version is in development.
