Honkai: Star Railteased a brand-new March 7th skin, as well as new characters coming in a future update.Honkai: Star Railrecently streamed the Version 2.3 Special Program, which showcased new features and details for the upcoming Trailblaze Mission.
At the end of the Special Program stream, it was teased that the Xianzhou Luofu would hold the Wardance Luminary Combat Arts Ceremony, which is likely the premise ofHonkai: Star RailVersion 2.4. The teaser also showed silhouettes of the Wardance participants, including the upcomingHonkai: Star Rail5-star character Yunliand a “Legendary New Swordmaster.”
Shortly after the Special Program stream,Honkai: Star Railreleased a teaser during Summer Game Fest, which mostly gave a glimpse of the final Penacony mission in Version 2.3. But the end of the teaser excited many fans as it revealed a new March 7th skin, where she’s wielding dual swords and wearing a Xianzhou Luofu outfit. This confirms that March 7th is the Legendary New Swordmaster joining the Wardance, but it’s still unknown if she will be given new abilities.
Apart from Yunli and March 7th, the Wardance will include Feixiao, Lingsha, Moze, and Huaiyan.Feixiao is a familiar name inHonkai: Star Railas she’s one of the seven Arbiter-Generals of the Xianzhuo Alliance, and presides over the Xianzhou Yaoqing. She is also Sushang’s swordmaster, soHonkai: Star Railfans might see interactions between the two in Version 2.4. These new Xianzhou characters will most likely become playable in future updates as well.
Is March 7th Getting a 5-star Variant?
It’s been highly speculated that March 7th will most likely get a 5-star variant in the future, just likeDan Heng’s Imbibitor Lunae, especially onceHonkai: Star Railfinally tackles her life story. With Version 2.4 introducing a new March 7th skin, many fans might understandably expect this to be her 5-star variant, but it’s also possible that this might just be a temporary cosmetic for the story. In the past,Honkai: Star Railrevealed the first March 7th skin, where she’s wearing a new sparkly dress for Belobog’s Solwarm Festival, but she quickly changed back to her default outfit.
If March 7th’s Wardance form is indeed her 5-star variant, then it will be a welcome surprise for manyHonkai: Star Railfans. But if it isn’t, it’s likely that HoYoverse is still cooking up big plans for5-star March 7th, especially since she has the most mysterious backstory because of her memory loss.
