Grand Theft Auto Onlinefeatures a ton of activities for players to enjoy, such as deathmatches, heists, odd jobs, races, flight school, and more. However, players can take it a step further by creating their own activities using the Rockstar Editor, which allows players to make videos, edit, and add effects in-game. One player has recreated afan-favorite racing titlefrom 2004 with an impressive montage of gameplay and previews for game modes within the Rockstar Editor.

The nine-minute video shared by Reddit user LucasRPDJ starts out with the intro song “Lazy Generation” by the F-Ups for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox 360 gameBurnout 3. The intro matches the original title sequence perfectly, then shifts to video ofGrand Theft Auto Onlineracing. The video features over-the-top action just likeBurnout 3with violent car crashes and explosions galore.

Even though the video is captured withinGTA 5, it features a full game menu that matchesBurnout 3with mode options, a network select screen, and a menu to choose a number ofGrand Theft Auto5super cars. Throughout the video, multipleBurnout 3game modes can be seen including the Road Rage, Burning Lap, and Eliminator modes. The video also shows off the classicBurnoutUI along with game features like boosts, takedowns, cinematic crashes, and race rewards including cash for crashes and special event postcards from the original game.

TheGrand Theft Auto 5graphics and cars mixed with theBurnout 3UI and game modes makes this video impressive to watch. The video could make anyBurnout 3fan want to return to the game, or wish for an actual remake by EA.

However, EA and Criterion Games apparently do not have any plans to release a newBurnoutdespite the franchise being well-received by fans. The latestBurnouttitle to be remastered wasBurnout Paradiseon PC, PS4, and Xbox One in 2018, and the Nintendo Switch received a port of the remaster just last year.

However,Burnoutdeveloper Criterion Games released a remastered version ofNeed for Speed: Hot Pursuitin November of 2020 and received mostly positive reviews for the improvements to the game. Criterion Games is said to be working on anotherNeed for Speedtitle that is expected to release later this year. It is not known if the studio will ever work on anotherBurnouttitle, but with no news on the franchise recently, another title in the franchise would likely be far off in the future.

Grand Theft Auto Onlineis available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. PS5 and Xbox Series X versions are in development.
